Guest guest
Deb, Thanks for taking the time to respond. Sounds like things are going well. I think for me the litimis test will be if my body starts shedding some weight which I have not been able to do for a very very long time. I am about 90% there on the diet as I am just starting and having to weed a few things out. Its interesting how you talk about oatmeal brain and creativity. I am a musician and have not been able to write anything worthwhile for a very very long time, or even have the energy or desire to even try for that matter. Wes > > > > Howdy Wes! > > I am sort of a newbie to Bee's program. TODAY is 2 months that I made the decision to jump in head first. And I've never looked back or regretted it. The night before, I ate a bowl of cereal & within 10 minutes, I thought I'd have to call 911. My tongue got huge & I thought I was going to pass out. Never had food allergies before, so it was frightening. I'd been reading Bee's sight & was sitting on the fence. I will tell you that I had my reservations in the beginning. But I saw dramatic results on day 3 when the door opened & I could release my bowels... gross, but noteworthy. > > Once that happened & continued to happen EVERY DAY, I knew I made the right choice. I had run myself ragged reading website info that always wanted to sell their magic pill. I bought several & either had no improvement or they made me feel more ill. I drained our bank account chasing a quick fix. I ran to the ER six times in a year, always being told that I am HEALTHY, hah! The last visit was humiliating with the ER Doc referring me to a shrink. > > I made the decision to COMMIT to Bee's program on March 19th. My husband left me, bag & baggage on March 25th. He said he'd seen enough of my loony antics (drinking coconut oil) & that it was all in my head. I know I should be sad at the demise of my marriage, but I am on a journey to regain my health. Negative thoughts & emotions will only slow me down. I view his departure as a positive event & continue to get better each passing day. > > I, too have had a rough life. DRAMA QUEEN with dramatic events that I instigated... looking back. Do you grind you teeth during sleep? It's because I was full of excito-toxins, namely ASPARTAME sweetener. I now wake with my mouth OPEN due to a relaxed jaw. It's awesome. And my guts are now CALM. Not even aware of my internal workings, as it should be. My thoughts are clear, concise, sharp, quick, witty. Instead of being scattered, impulsive, fragmented, foggy. I, too, was diagnosed with ADD, really ADHD & was on Ritalin for 6 years in my 40's. What a load of horse manure! My motivation for life & enthusiasm for new pursuits is overflowing. I've always been artistic & my creative streak is rampant. I still do not have have the stamina I once did, but in time it will all come back. Of this I am certain. Plus I have gone from 224 lbs on 1-1-11, to 159 lbs today. And I am NEVER hungry. > > I dumped all of the sites I had bookmarked. I mentally dumped all the misinformation about candida. I still struggle mentally with eating all the fats, but hey, BACON!!!! 'Nuff said. > > From just my viewpoint & what has worked for me, I can say to DUMP the Docs, even the holistic ones. Quit spending good money on bad testing, quit reading other websites, dump the supplements other than those listed by Bee & take them in the correct amounts. Clear out your fridge & pantry of all non-approved foods & beverages. NO CHEATING!!! > > Yes, it is a drastic lifestyle change, but the one you were living got you where you are today. How's that working for 'ya? I've found this to be a very supportive & informative group. Also Bee's website is unbelievably packed with knowledge on candida overgrowth, proper nutrition, etc. I " thought " I knew what a healthy diet was... boy, was I wrong. Brainwashing from the powers that be! > > You can do this if you COMMIT. It is a step that YOU have to take. " They " can NOT fix you. You have all the POWER at the end of a fork. Wishing you so much success in regaining your health. > > DeBBie in TeXaS >
