Guest guest
> > Hey all!!! > > Well, last night I ordered all of the supplements recommended by Bee. I ordered: > > -Nature's Way Calcium Citrate > -NOW Foods Magnesium Citrate > -Virgin Coconut Oil > -Kal Nutritional Yeast Flakes > -NOW Foods C-1000 > -Vitamin E > -Cod Liver Oil (the Garden of Life one that was highly recommended) > P.S. The Cod Liver Oil I ordered is okay cause it contains the recommended vitamins A & D, correct??? > > P.P.S. As long as I have the yeast flakes I don't need the other options for vitamin B, correct??? +++Hi Sara. Please note that it is much cheaper to also buy vitamins A & D separately, found in halibut, cod or shark " liver " oil capsules, than to take 2 tablespoons of Garden of Life Cod Liver Oil, so you only need 1 tablespoon of CLO. The best product is Natural Factors Halibut Liver Oil but iHerb doesn't sell it. However you can usually get it at your local health store. +++Yes that is correct that you don't need the other vitamin B options when you take Nutritional Yeast Flakes. > > I also have Organic Unsalted Butter, Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Avocados and all those things for fat intake. I expect all of these other supplements to arrive by Saturday and if not then by Monday. +++That's great you are getting everything together Sara! > > As many of you know, all of the information that is available through this group and Bee's website is incredibly overwhelming. I'm getting confused as to how to start out. I have read the area on Bee's site about starting out and I read the article on your height to weight ratios and have figured out what of each area I need to eat per day. I tried the fitday.com calculator just to see how it worked and I found it more confusing. For example, I put in " coconut oil " and it said it only had 0.1% fat content. Huh??? I know that's not true. I tried entering virgin coconut oil and it gave me the same results. +++Don't look at the percentages, instead look at the number of grams, which is 13.6 per tablespoon. If you clicked on Add to Your Food Log you will see the number of grams. > > I know that I need to work my way up in this diet and not do the full recommended amounts of supplements right away. +++At the beginning you can take a full dose of Vitamin E and Calcium and Magnesium. I also know that there are other examples of starting out on this diet that I have actually seen on Bee's website but I can't remember how I found it. Can anyone recommend or post a link to a good starting out regime??? Or even your own personal story??? Cheers!!! +++You must use the article Curing Candida, How to Get Started: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/intro1.php Onward & Upward, Bee
