I just fixed the article so it says this: -After 3 months, do enemas once a month 3 times, stopping altogether after that, unless you slip on the diet and find you need them again. It is a good idea to do a coffee enema every 6 months to 1 year throughout life. The section about the gallbladder has this title " Your gallbladder may empty " - note the word MAY. That doesn't mean everyone will experience this, so it may not happen for you. And if it doesn't then that's okay too. It just means your gallbladder is in better shape than people who feel their gallbladder empty as described. It is simply a warning that it " may " happen and not to be alarmed. Guest guest
Hi Bee, I've never increased the amount of coffee I use, only using 2 tbsp each time. uses 8 tbsp for each one? Am I supposed to be increasing mine each time? I thought 2 tbsp was the limit per enema? Guest guest
Bee I was going to start coffee enemas this week but I thought to myself, wouldn't the caffeine just get absorbed into the colon. After all, before hypodermic needles were invented, drugs were often delivered rectally (colon being encased in capillaries). If it acted like drinking coffee does the cancer clinics wouldn't be able to prescribe it to cancer patients. Here's more about how it works in the body: The effects of having a coffee enema are not the same as drinking coffee. The veins of the anus are very close to the surface of the tissue. The caffeine is therefore absorbed more quickly (and in a higher concentration) than it is in when coffee is drunk. Additionally, coffee has a chemical makeup that is stimulative. The enzymes in coffee, known as palmitates, help the liver carry away the toxins in bile acid. The coffee is absorbed into the hemorrhoidal vein (in the anus), and then it is taken up to the liver by the portal vein. With the bile ducts dilate, bile carries toxins away to the gastro-intestinal tract. Simultaneously, peristaltic activity (movement of the bowel) is encouraged. The caffeine from the coffee is absorbed into this circulatory system and goes directly to the liver where it acts as a very strong detoxifier. It decongests the liver, and causes it to dump its toxins. It also causes the liver to produce more bile (which contains processed toxins from the liver) and stimulates the gall bladder to dump its contents which flows directly into the small intestine for elimination. This frees up the liver, enabling it to process toxins more efficiently, particularly candida toxins and those caused by killing off candida. The coffee only goes to the liver, and does not circulate throughout the body so it does not act like drinking caffeine would. Caffeine also stimulates an enzyme used by the liver to make its detoxification pathways. This enzyme is used to form glutathione (an amino acid), which is one of the main components that enable toxins to be eliminated via the bile into the small intestine. Therefore a coffee enema speeds up detoxification and minimizes the backlog of detoxified substances. Bee

Guest guest
bee, can you describe a time line for the process? you hold the enema for 15 minutes then how long does it take to induce bile excretion, etc.? thanks From: Bee <beeisbuzzing2003@...> Subject: [ ] Re: how long to do coffee enemas 1 per month? What is your name please? As soon as the coffee enters the large colon it goes to the liver. That's why people get relief and/or detoxifying reactions even if they don't hold the enema. I didn't even know it could be retained when I did them back in 1985 and they still helped me a great deal. I don't know how long it takes for the liver to causes bile excretion after it receives the coffee - this what the article explains says: " Caffeine also stimulates an enzyme used by the liver to make its detoxification pathways. This enzyme is used to form glutathione (an amino acid), which is one of the main components that enable toxins to be eliminated via the bile into the small intestine. " I don't think bile secretion is dependent upon how long you hold the enema. Retaining the enema could mean more coffee goes to the liver, but I don't know for sure. I haven't read about that anywhere, unless someone else has the information. Bee
