Guest guest
Oh. My. Goodness. Bee. On New Years Eve I 'bit the bullet' and did my first ever coffee enema. I'm not sure why I hadn't done them before. Possibly thinking that being 3 years gluten free and low-carb and 9 months on your diet ought to have cleared out my liver et all by now, maybe. Not sure. Anyway, after doing that I had four hours solid of my liver and/or pancreas clearing out - all rattling across my back and down my right side out of the tubes. The next day I felt a bit better - a little more energy. On Tuesday I did another one. Bit more clearing out, but it was all a bit sore after that one. That day I decided to start taking some Milk Thistle to support my liver et al. On Friday I also started drinking some plain salt water in the style of the 'Karlovy Vary' protocol. Yesterday, I should have had another CE but because we are going away for a few days this week, I didn't want to do anything that would make things temporarily worse. However, my body had other ideas. Within a short while of going to bed the clear-out started in earnest. And went on ALL night. It's still going on now, albeit not quite so strenuously. It has been pulling stuff out from my left side and back, my shoulders, my neck, all over and trundling it out. Absolutely awesome. Sometimes it was quite tough going and pretty painful - maybe some larger 'lumps' of stuff, and it would feel as though I had been 'kneed' in the back, triggering an involuntary jerk. It does look as though maybe I had some kind of blockage down there and my body has finally been given the tools to free it and clear everything out. I just hope that the length of time it has been going on hasn't resulted in any permanent damage. It has felt for some time as if my liver and/or pancreas has been very swollen and inflamed. Over the last few weeks, as soon as my stomach (eventually) emptied into the duodenum I would get a horrible feeling in my back like someone was digging their knuckles in. I am suspecting now that the blockage may have been stopping my digestive enzymes and/or bicarbs getting out of my pancreas - and that is probably why the food was sitting in my stomach so long. I really hope now that as the soreness and inflammation from this dies down my digestion can finally start to recover and work properly. I will carry on with the CEs when we get back from our break.
