Guest guest
I just posted and then as I was reading again, saw that another newbie asked the ultrasound question but didn't get any answers. I can't negate that people are passing these stones - I see the pictures - and it does make sense, but really would like to know if anyone has backed this up with ultrasound to be sure they were from the gallbladder. Desperately seeking evidence to avoid surgery! Karin
Guest guest
>>>really would like to know if anyone has backed this up with ultrasound to be sure they were from the gallbladder<<< Yes I have. I also have a great doc who sent my stones away to be analysed which confirmed that they were indeed gallstones. Blessings Mama.
Guest guest
, If you read up on gallstones, there are many people who have one attack and then never have another. If you're still experiencing pain and it was not a one time thing I would think the HIDA scan would be an option or possibly gas issues like you said. But it is entirely possible to have one major attack and never have another problem.
Guest guest
, I have been dealing with a similar discomfort as you describe for over 4 years. Originally doctor said my gall bladder has to be removed. After doing a number of cleanses and altering my diet - adding cold pressed extra virgin olive oil, a lot more fresh fruit and veggies, apple juice with a tblspn of Braggs Apple Cider Vinegar occasionally - he has said my gallbladder is fine. Still, the discomfort persists. I have tried everything I could find on the internet that matches my symptoms to no avail. I still have not identified the cause. By a total fluke I missed a couple of days of my personal vitamin regimen. I noticed the discomfort was greatly reduced. I decided to eliminate my vitamins to see if there was a corelation. I feel much better, (after about 2 weeks) although the discomfort is still there, but it is much less significant. My finger nails,(a great indicator of overall health)which had become deeply grooved over the past 4 years, are now growing back much healthier looking. I find that salt, oils and sugars still aggravate that area but I can now eat some of my addictive goodies and only suffer a little. I would recommend that you start a journal and identify everything you have eaten, drank, inhaled (ie toxic fumes) or smoked in one wide column next to the time of day consumed and in the far column identify how you feel. After a few weeks you will likely be able to see what items trigger greater discomfort. Start eliminating things from your diet and see if it makes a difference. You may be pleasantly surprised to find you can splurge on some of your favorite treats again. I noticed that garlic and onions aggravated my symptoms. Buy some PH strips (for urine) at your local healthfood store. When you find your PH level below 6.7 drink a glass of pure water with a teaspoon of baking soda - well stirred. I only do this up to 3 days a week. I won't do Apple Cider Vinegar with Apple Juice on the same day as the baking soda any more. Way to much acidic reaction happens when you combine those two. One more very important factor - you must decrease the stress that you allow to enter into your consciousness (ie Read A New Earth and watch the Jill Bolte video) As I said, I still do have minor discomfort, so until that is totally gone, I would say don't think of this as an exact science. Keep trying. God Bless and good luck, Jeannie > > I just got the results of a gallbladder ultrasound I had done yesterday. The doctor said everything looks normal. They could not find anything wrong with the gall bladder, not even any stones. I did do a flush Friday but was under the impression that some stones would be left. I am feeling much better but am now wondering if it is my gall bladder that I was having issues with. They also took an ultrasound of the pancreas which looked fine. > > What else could it be? What else is in this area? I just have uncomfortable pressure under my right rib at times. Guest guest
Jeannie, I have been watching what I eat more than usual and the discomfort is better. You mentioned that you use cold compressed olive oil. Do you take a certain amount per day? Do you mix it with juice? I read somewhere about taking just a few tablespoons before bedtime to help gall bladder. I tried it before I did the cleanse and it seemed to help. The doctor does not think it is my gall bladder but I still think there may be something going on with it. Thanks for the advice! -------------- Original message -------------- From: " Jeannie " <@...> , I have been dealing with a similar discomfort as you describe for over 4 years. Guest guest
My sister had a horrible migraine for 7 weeks and the doctors could not find any reason for it. She was close to suicide. When her " One A Day " ran out, she was too sick to go to the store to get more and the next day her migraine was gone. Be careful what you take!!
