Guest guest
Hi Sara, I just thought I would pass along to you that I started having healing reactions in the beginning just from changing my diet, without any coconut oil or garlic. When eating the foods Bee recommends, those two items (even without the supplements) can cause your body to start the healing process. Group Moderator > > Hi Bee... > > Thank you for answering all of my questions I've had thus far. Sorry to keep coming back with more but like all people who start out on this new lifestyle, you get scared and end up with MORE questions. > > As I told you in my intro message I've been suffering with Bacterial Vaginosis for the past 2 months. I got it in August out of nowhere, took 3 antibiotics to get rid of it, contracted the C. Difficile toxin, took 2 rounds of the same antibiotic for that and then ended up with BV AGAIN. It has been left untreated for 2 months now as I have been afraid to go back to the doctors since they have not given me any answers or solutions. > > The only thing I have changed is my diet. Like I told you earlier I have ordered all the necessary supplements but they have not all arrived yet therefore I can not start taking them. I DID however start the coconut oil (Nutiva, organic) around this last Friday along with some raw garlic here and there (in salads or grilled with the oil with chicken). My infection has flared up within the past 2 days (after telling you that it was starting to feel better) and my question is, is the coconut oil and the garlic strong enough on its own to cause healing reactions??? I would say that it was the supplements and everything but I'm not on those yet. Could it be the other things??? > > Also, is it always the case that feminine issues are the last to be resolved while on this diet??? Why is that??? > > Thanks again, > > Sara >

Why is that??? +++Hi Sara, helped you with this, but I want to clarify that I've never stated that feminine issues are the last to be resolved on this program for all women. It just happened that my vaginal issues were the last to resolve for me. That area of the body is one of the many ways your body gets rid of toxins. Even now some kinds of toxins I happen to get are discharged through that area, even though it is scant and passes quickly. Flare-ups of your main health issues do increase when you start on this program since your body has become more efficient at detoxifying itself - also see Retracing, Healing Reactions and Flare-ups for more information: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/heal10.php All the best, Bee
Guest guest
Hi , I know how horrible BV can be. One thing I have read over and over again by many holistic drs is that one has to look hard at her relationships in order to heal BV. I found this true for me. It can also be a relationship with work as well. Apple cider sitz baths and then probiotic capsules inserted are very helpful. Good luck to you! > > Hi Bee... > > Thank you for answering all of my questions I've had thus far. Guest guest
Thanks . I appreciate that. Trust me, I have looked at all possible explanations as to why I have been having this problem. I honestly do not feel that any of my relationships are toxic. I am not in a romantic relationship at the moment so I don't have to worry about that. And all of my friends and family have been very supportive. And my managers at work have been very understanding. I don't think it's anything in that respect. I do believe, however, that my own emotional stress over the situation could very well be part of the problem. I need to learn to calm down and just know that my body will heal itself eventually. It's very hard to be patient when you are uncomfortable all the time. Bee, I wanted to tell you that I got a test result back today. It's from a lab that tests for other things that normal labs will not test for. Basically, my test came back NEGATIVE for bacterial vaginosis, yeast, trich and overgrowth of good bacteria. In other words, everything is NORMAL. I have no positive testing of anything. Yet I still have this vaginal irritation and dryness and I have no idea why. Unless it is from stress going through this whole situation the past 7 months or from my body trying to get back to normal from everything that has happened to me. Obviously I know the diet and supplements will be the biggest help but I just don't understand how I can have these symptoms when I have nothing positive. Also, I have not been a person with lots of vaginal issues. This is only the 2nd time in my life that I have had to deal with something like this. The other time was 6 years ago and it wasn't uncomfortable like this. Just thought I'd pass that info along. Sara > Hi , > I know how horrible BV can be. For whatever reason your body has decided to detoxify through that area, so go with the flow and just keep on the program. When your body doesn't need to detoxify through that area any longer it will stop. However, in future, if you get toxins they may get discharged there, and I think it may also depend upon the kind of toxin. Guest guest
Yes, Bee. I know. I guess I am just scared as I have never experienced this before. I'm just used to doctor's saying " This is the problem... take this. " I know that I need to train my mind on healing in a different way. On a positive note... it IS nice to know that the infection is no longer present. Perhaps my dieting alone fought it off even though I still have the symptoms. And my holistic doctor also told me " Things usually get worse before they get better. " She also said this which was encouraging: " Keep this at the front of your mind. Your body has the power to heal itself and it WILL heal. Remember that. " So the bottom line is... I'm scared to death. I have never gone through anything like this before and I'm going through it alone which is even harder. I'm glad that I have this forum to get answers and reassurance but I wish that I had someone here with me physically to go through it as well. But I do appreciate all of the advice and time you have given me. Sara > +++Hi Sara, > > I thought I explained how that area gets rid of toxins, and toxins are very drying and cause irritation. Guest guest
Sara, Have you tried the cocnut oil suppositories? Bee recommends them on the site by putting the oil in a capsule and putting that high up into the vagina. Here's the link. http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/women6.php Because I am too lazy to do the work to put it into capsules ;-p, I just take solid coconut oil, and make balls of it (melts just enough in my hands to be pliable, but must be done quickly) and put them on a plate that I leave in the freezer. The frozen coco oil balls keep their shape for quite awhile out of the freezer. I use them at night while sleeping (be sure to wear underwear, it does come out sometimes after melted, and can stain the bed). I keep a second one handy in case I have to get up and pee at night. This has helped me tremendously, as I have had recurring yeast and bacterial infections since I was 18. Best of luck - I know how miserable vaginal infections can be! > > Hi Bee... > > Thank you for answering all of my questions I've had thus far. Guest guest
Thank you so much for your advice that is very sweet of you. However, now that I know there is no longer any infection down there, I'm guessing that I am having a healing reaction. It isn't unbearable to live with but it's constantly there. Some days it hurts more than others. I just need to know that my body is healing and not freak out over it. LOL!!! If worse comes to worse, I will definitely use this as a back up. Thank you so much!!! Sara > Sara, > > Have you tried the cocnut oil suppositories? Bee recommends them on the site by putting the oil in a capsule and putting that high up into the vagina. But I do appreciate all of the advice and time you have given me. +++Hi Sara, You are not alone, since we have all been brainwashed by the medical industry, including me. Doctors make us scared of infection because they claim it can spread throughout the body and kill us if we don't kill it immediately. However, that is totally false. The body itself creates infection, as needed, in order to clean up an area and help it heal, and when it has done its job there won't be any infection any more. So infection is simply a healing process. For example, when you get a cut on your hand you'll notice that it swells up and becomes inflamed (turns red). That is because the body itself sends more healing blood and other healing substances to the area to: 1) clot the blood so it will stop bleeding, 2) to clear out dead or damaged cells, and 3) to repair and rebuild the area. That is a simple way of explaining what can happen in any area of the body. Infection isn't something anyone should be afraid of. The worst thing anyone can do is to take poisons, i.e. drugs, antibiotics, etc. when infection occurs. Instead they should be doing things that help the body do its job, which are eating healthy, not having toxins or damaging foods, resting, lessening sources of stress, etc. All the best, Bee
