Guest guest
While I am doing well overall on the candida program I still have some brain fog which makes all of this great info overwhelming. Can someone give me a few examples of the ratios I need for my meals? I am 5' 3 " and about 105 lbs. I am also finding that if I have too many oils, fats I cant sleep at night due to jittery stomach. any suggestions would be appreciated: Janet

There is an automatic calculator on my website - see this: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/foods8.php Write down your ratios, and then follow instructions in this article, called Fitday.com - How to use it, to enter your foods so you can adjust your intake up or down as necessary: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/foods9.php All the best, Bee

Guest guest
> > Is it neccessery to follow to same ratios after i'm healed? +++Hi Danny, I believe it is, since you do not want to switch your body over from running on good fats (ketones) to running on glucose/sugars. The ratios I recommend are the same as Dr. Jan Kwasniewski recommends for his Optimal Diet - he's in Poland and has been curing people of heart disease, diabetes, obesity, cancer, etc. for over 30 years with his diet. Dr. K. says this under fat: http://homodiet.netfirms.com/diet/fat.htm " Under no circumstances should we mix different kinds of fuel or the two different sources of energy: fats and carbohydrates, more precisely we should maintain a correct proportion between the two. " I don't know why, and his books are in Polish. Even though one of his books has been translated to English it is very difficult to understand. That's why I stick to the ratios now, even though I am healthy. All the best, Bee

Guest guest
Hi Bee, Should we also keep ratios so strict when we are on the Meat & Fat program? Eating less fat will make us constipated, while eating more fat won't hurt us. Is that right? I don't measure my food and I'm on the m & f program, so no carbs. Therefore you wouldn't consume any carbs on it. However, you need to consume 20% meat and 80% fat by calorie-count as instructed in my All Meat and Fat Program. Guest guest
> > Hi Bee, > I have been trying to do the ratio thing. If I'm doing it correctly I am doing great with fat (185) each day with 6T CO by spoon, 1 T in cooking, 4T. butter, 1 T. olive oil plus fats from eggs and meat. The carbs and protein are too low. Would this effect my weight? I've been putting on weight, at first I lost but now am gaining. I stick real strick to the diet. > +++Hi Cassandra, You don't need to be concerned if your carbs are low, however you do need to consume enough protein. There are many reasons why some women gain weight on this program, that isn't related to anything they have on this program. It is mainly due to hormones being unbalanced, particularly if you ever taken hormones for anything, including birth control pills.
