Guest guest
Hi , That's so good about the eye poking stopping. Sounds like the k2 might be putting the calcium in the right places in this respect then - but strange about the teeth. Hope all goes well. Sandyxx > > HI Sandy > I agree with you -I think it is something to do with the K2 D3 and his calcium ...he was always getiing us to poke our finger in his eyes( quite hard) I read this is to do with poor calcium absorbtion, funny thing is this is stopped since the increase in his k2 and he is on high levels of D3 as his level was low.... will keep you posted -will ask Dr J when he gets back > >
Guest guest
Hi , thank-you for your post. My son has started pressing hard his finger on the outside of one of his eyes and he is doing it constantly ( I wonder if it is the same kind of thing. Do you mind letting me know where did you read about the poor calcium absorbtion? He gets K2 and D3 but then not high levels (just a drop of each a day). When you increase K2, do you need to increase D3 as well? Many thanks, Begona >> HI Sandy> I agree with you -I think it is something to do with the K2 D3 and his calcium ...he was always getiing us to poke our finger in his eyes( quite hard) I read this is to do with poor calcium absorbtion, funny thing is this is stopped since the increase in his k2 and he is on high levels of D3 as his level was low.... will keep you posted -will ask Dr J when he gets back> >
Guest guest
Hi Begona, Join the Vitamin K group, the files are really good. I did read once about a child pressing his eyes when he was on Nystatin and another child poking his eyes on it. Just a thought, Sara ebjdp wrote: > > Hi , > thank-you for your post. Guest guest
My teeth weren't stained before, but they are now. I think it must be from the clove tea I've been drinking. That's the only thing I've been drinking a lot of. That and a lot of broth, so I can't see what else would cause it other than the clove tea. I'm brushing with baking soda, but it's not helping. I hope I can get rid of it, my teeth look brown and it looks awful. I'll try mixing peroxide with baking soda, but I don't know if it's ok for the enamel to do that much. Guest guest
Hi April. My teeth have been discolored for a few months now, and I don't drink clove tea. It's from the diet (I'm 8 months in) and/or oil pulling. I've just stopped oil pulling to see if that helps. I could see that the coconut oil helps to draw toxins out, and that may contribute to the discoloration. Whatever the cause, it's not very fun having gray teeth! I feel self-conscious every time I smile. I don't think baking soda or peroxide helps because the discoloration is caused by internal reasons. I hope some members respond that this problem has improved for them. Hope it gets better for you, On Sat, May 7, 2011 at 7:59 AM, april <aprilmaybemay@...> wrote: > > > My teeth weren't stained before, but they are now. Guest guest
Hi April, You're not doing anything wrong. Your teeth can detox just like the rest of your body, so that's why they are dark. They can turn yellow, brown and even grey before the get white again. Other members have reported this, too. I also had times where I had big white dots on my teeth, but that has gone away now and my teeth are nice and white. You don't need to do anything special. Continue brushing with baking soda. It will take time, but your teeth will eventually get white again. Your enamel can also build up on Bee's diet. Group Moderator > > My teeth weren't stained before, but they are now. Guest guest
Thanks , How long did it take for your teeth to get white again? Guest guest
Hi , Same with me. I usually smile a lot, but now I feel self conscious too. Mine are a lovely shade of brown! The baking soda did help a little, they were actually worse. Guest guest
> > Thanks , > How long did it take for your teeth to get white again? +++Hi April, The timing for each person to finish detoxifying through their teeth is different, so you cannot go by how long it took or anyone else for their teeth to be white. It depends upon many factors, including the amount of toxins, like fluoride that you acquired from dental treatments, foods, toothpaste, other products, water, etc., which mainly comes out as gray or brown. Your teeth will also detoxify toxic substances acquired through your mouth include mouth wash, toothpaste, breath mints, gum treatments like numbing medicine, novacaine, anesthetics, etc. Yellow indicates chemical toxins. Also your teeth can detoxify toxins from other areas of your body. All the best, Bee
Guest guest
Thanks Bee, I actually had been using baking soda the whole time for cleaning my teeth. I just noticed an improvement when drinking the ginger tea. I just enjoy the taste of ginger tea. I add no sweeteners to it. I may try to add a bit of ginger powder to it. Thanks again. C. > > > > Hi, > > I was making some fresh ginger tea. It is said to freshen the breath. My teeth did look whiter. I also bought some organic ginger powder from Vitacost. I use about a tsp per cup, and that is kind of strong. I assume it is washing away what the diet brings out on the teeth. I really don't know if that is a good or bad thing. Ginger does have some properties nutrient wise. The bacteria/scum is there to do a job. My teeth were not looking worse on the diet though anyway. Bee talked about ginger tea on her recipe group. > > +++Hi C. Detoxification of your teeth cannot be changed or improved by anything used on them orally, since it comes from inside. > > I think it is better to brush your teeth with baking soda since your own mouth produces it. Baking soda dissolves mucus on the teeth upon which plaque is formed. You can mix it with a little bit of ginger powder to make it taste better. > > All the best, Bee >
