Guest guest
Yes, cut them in half. You need to know the ELEMENTAL calcium. The labels are misconstruing. On Thu, Dec 3, 2009 at 2:28 PM, oregondaisy56 <denisef822@...> wrote: My calcium citrate chewables are 1,000 mg each. Now what kind of sense does that make? If we can't absorb more than 500 at a time, why would they make them in 1,000 mg chewable tablets? should I cut them in half?

I just sent her an email asking if I can give you her email address. On Tue, Dec 1, 2009 at 3:46 PM, Donna Bean <hotcalirunnermac> wrote: Did you use to have the band? I know I know you. Anyway, I went out and got ALL my vitamins, broths(miso)soups and stuff for the next week to "reset" my body.. I didn't realize just how far I had fallen. But this is a life time change not just a weight loss change and somewhere I forgot that... Do you know where I might find out about increasing my vitamins and how it might affect my nursing our baby?Thank you SO much..Donna Bean Sent from my iPhone

Guest guest
What is the deal on this? I am not supposed to take it with my other medicines. So I am supposed to remember to take 1/2 through out the day? This is getting rather confusing. what is elemental calcium? And how much am I supposed to need total per day? Thanks. I appreciate that you share your knowledge with us. > > > > > > > > > My calcium citrate chewables are 1,000 mg each. Now what kind of > > sense does that make? Guest guest
yes, loads of kids with autism cannot process calcium properly, have a look at the Vitamin K files. I think it sounds like an excito-toxin for him. Guest guest
Could it also be the citrate part of the formulation?. I know zinc citrate has my son gagging in minutes and the nausea lasts hours., however he is fine with ionic Zinc. ... would he do better on a more ionic form of calcium like the ones dr Mercola suggests ... is it something like Coral? Guest guest
I was told today at the health food store where I work that taking calcium citrate will cause calcium to actually be " robbed " from your bones in the effort to alkalize the body from the citrate. I don't believe that is true but could you, Bee, explain why? What do you believe is the best carrier for calcium and why? Thanks, Jan from GA.
