Guest guest
Ok, So just about 5 weeks in. Its been a tough week. I had a real bad cold over the weekend with a fever and my bones cracked and ached constantly. I also have struggled with hunger bouts. But again my face has remained quite clear so thats always a plus after struggling for years with constant blemishes. Completed my third enema. This one went really well, I always feel really good for a short time after the enema. Couple questions for the week. I want to make sure that for the fitday calcuations, Did i read this right, you subtract the fiber content from the total carb content for cooked veggies? cause I definitely was way high at first but if I subtract fiber count it helps a lot. Also I am trying to work to 50 minutes of boiling veggies, thats the optimal time right? After the enema, is there anything recommended a person should take? I do the castor oil packs in the evening, just curious if there anything else recommended. Ive read elsewhere that aloe vera juice is beneficial after an enema. Thoughts bee? I know aloe vera is not on the list. Last question is coconut oil in a clear glass ok. I have read that oils not in dark containers go rancid. I got a great deal on unrefined organic coconut oil but its was a clear glass. Is that bad? THANKS! CASEY

Yes, it is correct to write down the fibers for carbs, add them up, and after you've entered all of your foods, subtract the fibers from the total carbs. +++The timing for well-cooked carbs varies, according to the kind of vegetable, and you don't keep them boiling the whole time. After boiling lower the heat. Greens take about 50 minutes, but broccoli and cauliflower take much less time so just cook them until they are are easily mashed up with a fork. > > After the enema, is there anything recommended a person should take? No, aloe vera won't help. > > Last question is coconut oil in a clear glass ok. I have read that oils not in dark containers go rancid. Is that bad? +++Coconut oil is high in saturated fat, like butter, lard, etc. so it doesn't go rancid like vegetables fats, i.e. olive oil that isn't highly saturated. So it doesn't need to be in dark bottles since heat, light and air do not make it go rancid. Coconut oil keeps 2 years without being refrigerated.
