Is the Celtic Sea special in regards to polution? Would you mind ellaborating on any data that you have found in regards to heavy metals? +++Hi Beth, Real Salt is made in Utah from salt deposit from an ancient sea. If you look at it, it is refined since it is white, and also they only claim it has 54 minerals in it, and not the over 84 minerals found in Celtic ocean sea salt that I recommend. Celtic sea salt has their salt analyzed on a regular basis, which is done by an independent laboratory, and it doesn't contain toxic levels of mercury or any other toxic substances.
