+++Hi ,

Some women can gain weight for awhile, which is usually related to hormone

issues. However I had hormone issues but I lost weight, so go figure. However,

I had taken birth control pills and hormone replacement (HRT) for such short

times, while the women gaining weight took hormones so much longer.

Did you take birth control pills, HRT, adrenal hormones, or any other kinds.

Have you had female related issues like PMS, irregular periods, etc. in the

past, or currently?

I'm 44 yo, never had HRT or any other hormone therapy. I took birth

control pills for about 2 to 3 years, however it's been 25 years since

my last pill, and I've been fully on the program for about 8 months,

partially for several months before that.

I have not had any unusual periods, in fact haven't had many periods, as

I've been pregnant or nursing most of the past 22 years. My children

have been naturally spaced between 2-3 years apart, breastfeeding having

delayed the return of my cycles anywhere from 1 to 2.5 years each

time. I did have a tendency toward violent mood swings for one day

each month, about a week before my period would start. That has been

hugely improved since going grain/sugar/starch free 2 years ago, even

before hearing about your program.

Any thoughts on why my 3yo would have a large weight gain over a short

amount of time?

+++Hi , therefore it will take you 25 months on this program for your body

to retrace taking birth control pills.

+++The article I just posted about Women Gaining Weight, etc. says:

" Also imbalances can happen long before puberty, and sometimes it can start

before birth, upon conception. "

Also you need to keep your daughter's carbs low.

All the best, Bee

Need clarification, sorry. Do you mean I will go through retracing FOR

25 months, or I will go through retracing once I've been on the program

for about 25 months. It was my understanding that we retrace sort of

backwards - our most recent issues first, working back through our

lifetime. As I've had very little retracing so far on this program,

I'm not sure I follow it all that well. I can think of ONE episode of

retracing I've had, and only a handful of healing reactions. <shrug>

+++Hi ,

That is 25 months on my program. You may not retrace backwards in time in exact

order, but generally it will take 25 months or more for your body to " start

retracing " taking birth control pills.
