Guest guest
Hello April, I am pretty new to kefir and almost didn't post this but I can see how this could happen. Although (here goes the part I wasn't going to post), I have to say that before I started drinking kefir I was a little on the gassy side and now I am not near as bad as I used to be. My husband used to joke around with me because I was so gassy but since I started drinking my kefir I haven't been. I hope your body adjust to it. Guest guest
I would say, yes. I would cut way back on kefir consumption. Some people have to start with a tablespoon. I'm not saying this will be your case. Guest guest
Hi Marilyn. I've been using a cup a day blended with a banana and some frozen fruit as a smoothie. Should I cut back to 1 tablespoon and work my way back up? I really enjoy the breakfast smoothies. If my body will make the adjustment, I can deal with it. Just was curious if this was part of the adjustment. -- April The Lotus rises from the mud and dirt Sweet Lotus Creations www.sweetlotuscreations.com On 9/25/07, Marilyn Kefirlady <marilynjarz@...> wrote: > > I would say, yes. Guest guest
Hi April, When I read how to drink kefir, now I wonder if that is simply too much fruit. Fruit is very gassy for some people. The only way to know if it is the fruit or the kefir is to drink your kefir plain. Guest guest
April: You should probably skip the banana and add in some fat....good quality egg yolk, raw butter, coconut oil. > > > > Hi Marilyn. Guest guest
Oh, I have normally had that much fruit for breakfast on a regular basis. I have no problem getting in 7-9 servings of fruits and vegetables every day. It's definitely the kefir. -- April On 9/25/07, Marilyn Kefirlady <marilynjarz@...> wrote: > > Hi April, > > When I read how to drink kefir, now I wonder if that is simply too much > fruit. Guest guest
Then that's your answer. Cut way back. Guest guest
Today wasn't so bad. I think my body just needs to adjust and it will be fine. -- April On 9/26/07, Marilyn Kefirlady <marilynjarz@...> wrote: > > Then that's your answer. Guest guest
I have been on this program for over six months now and in general am doing great. Lately, though, I have been experiencing a lot of bloating and gas. I'm not sure why. Do you have any suggestions for helping with this? Thank you. Guest guest
I have not cheated at all. I've been very disciplined about eating only the foods on the candida diet list. I do have some raw vegetables, though - lettuce, celery, and cucumber, mostly. The others I cook. > > > > I have been on this program for over six months now and in general am doing great. Have you ever had bloating and gas in the past, before doing this program? If you have, please read about how your body retraces those symptoms: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/heal10.php Bee
