Guest guest
Hi Bee, we are attempting our final hurdle here, introducing the last of my daughter's so called 'life threatening allergies'. She can eat fish without any instant reactions - no anaphylaxis type mouth/ throat swelling or severe asthma. She still experiences fairly strong healing reactions though, that start a day after and depending on the type of fish will last for three to five days. The return of old symptoms includ autism, agression, self harm, hyperactivity, night horrors, gastro intestinal pains etc. This is still demoralising and exhausting to a child who has already experienced so many years of illness and healing, and is roundly sick of it! What do you think of the idea of going slower by just adding in fish oils (ie not fish liver just the fish oils), as a kind of transition stage? I am assuming that it is the omega 3s that are causing the healing. This way I can measure out the healing more graduly as I did with the coco oil and everything else. (We have had to do everything painfully slowly!) The kids have been on a tablespoon of garden of life cod liver oil for at least a year now. I'm also keen to hear about your research on the balance of omega 3 and 6 since my ambition is to eventually have the family on alot of fish as it is obviously ( if the ammount of healing is anything to go by!) the food their bodies need the most. (They get a tablespoon of olive oil a day too) Looking so forward to getting this last hurdle over and done with so that I can write that BIG success story! Lots of love

Fish oils only contain omega 3 and it works together with vitamins A & D, so I don't see any advantage to only have fish oil and not cod liver oil. +++You say your kids have been on Garden of Life, so that does not include your daughter above? +++I don't understand, since you say she gets the above reactions from eating fish itself, so just give her small amounts of it and increase it very slowly. > I'm also keen to hear about your research on the balance of omega 3 and 6 since my ambition is to eventually have the family on alot of fish as it is obviously ( if the ammount of healing is anything to go by!) the food their bodies need the most. All of the nutrients work together. All the best, Bee
Guest guest
Hi , Have you tired ordering fish from Vital Choice? They coat the store bought fish with something here and it makes me sick. I can do Vital Choice fish though, it's all wild-caught (and tastes better too!) Guest guest
Hi Bee, sorry I wasn't making myself clear. I meant adding fish oils ontop of cod liver oil which the kids are already taking as a way of transitioning. This way I can do it really slowly. None the less, nothing beats the real whole food, so I shall just brace myself and continue! Thank you, . > > > > Hi Bee, we are attempting our final hurdle here, introducing the last of my daughter's so called 'life threatening allergies'.
