I know only two cups or less of any tea are recommended, would Alfalfa grass tea create any problems? Thanks > +++Hi Casey, Most alfalfa available in the US is genetically modified, and also it is high in copper which throws off mineral balances. Why do you want to take it? Guest guest
Hi bee thanks for getting back to me. The alfalfa I buy is organic and purchased at my local co-op. The company that produces it is Frontier. Think this would be genetically modified. I believe I read a posting on the message board you found frontier quite reliable. So I tried alfalfa because I read some interesting finding on the tea. (I have been looking for a good herbal tea to have from time to time) Here is what stuck out in my findings, besides the high level of mineral and vitamin content: I have read that alfalfa grass tea can help balance excessive male hormone DHT, which is believed to be a culprit in hair loss. Now personally, i really believe your diet goes a long way in balancing a person's overall hormones, besides the hair loss/sheds i have other symptoms I am sure are caused by imbalance--especially due from the high carb/sugar diet that i really believe effects a body's insulin production/level. So I think this may help continue to the overall restoration and balance of hormone levels. Thoughts? Thanks a million bee! > > > > Question on Alfalfa grass tea.
