Guest guest
Thanks again Bee. On the subject of tea. I have a tea that is just made of Herbs. Is that ok? it's Tisane. After all it's just hot water and herbs. It's for digestion. Also, can I buy Flaxseed powder for constipation or do I make it myself from the seeds. I doubt it as they are quite agressive. I was reading your article on constipation, but it's not clear on how to make it.. If I have it for a few days, I get very tired, with more than the usual aches in my limbs; toxins probably and as I also suffer from Fibromylgia and a pinched disc, some days it feels like every nerve in my body is painful, walking is painful as I have pain under my feet and pelvic area running down my legs. I think it is siatica, but not sure.as the doctors tell me that Fibromylgia pain isn't in the feet and their are vague about where siatica pain extends to. It's very helpful reading everyone's experiences as I have been really afraid to eat more eggs and fats (cholesterol levels). Even though I have read most of your site, and it makes sense, it's still difficult to embrace all the new ideas, and give up on the old information we have been fed in the past, especially the fiber and cholesterol lies, and with my friends thinking I'm insane with my new ideas.. All my beliefs have been turned upside down, but I think I will take the chance and up my already increased intake of eggs and protein.. I can't believe I have given up almost all my bad habit foods but still get a craving for cakes and a glass of wine, living as I do in this land of pastries and wine!. .Does any one else feel the same? The article says to do it >1-3 times a day. How many times do you recommend? +++Hi Nuala. I don't think anyone needs to do it more than 1 time per day. > > I have another query. Bee's diet says no tea as it's a diuretic. I normally >drink green tea, but it has taninne. Should I give up green tea (gunpowder) and >can I drink rooibos tea? It has no caffeine or taninne, which I think is the >same? +++All tea is the same, so drinking rooibos tea is the same as drinking any kind of tea. Only have 2 cups per day of any kind of tea. Guest guest
Hi Nuala, to respond to your question if others feel as you do-- I hardly have any cravings for sweets anymore. I do, however, still long for red wine and beer! The social part is the hardest for me. It's not easy for me to explain the science behind all this to people, and even harder to figure out how to eat around other people. Also I have many friends who are into yoga, etc, and they think eating meat is wrong. But I lived for many years following mainstream dietary advice, including vegetarianism, and it didn't work for me like Bee's diet is. So it's definitely worth the effort! Good luck! Typically, herbal teas can be made with fresh or dried flowers, leaves, seeds or roots, generally by pouring boiling water over the plant parts and letting them steep for a few minutes. So Tisane can be made from any plants. All herbs are diuretic. >>>Also, can I buy Flaxseed powder for constipation or do I make it myself from the seeds. I doubt it as they are quite agressive. As you progress on this program body will become better able to detoxify like it should, so your muscle pains will decrease like they have for many others. > > It's very helpful reading everyone's experiences as I have been really afraid to eat more eggs and fats (cholesterol levels). I had also gone along with the same things you have. But those days are over, and we can now take charge of our own health, and destiny!
