Guest guest
>>>I have always joked about how we could follow the literal advice in Exodus and Levitticus which gives us the authority to smote people who prepare food improperly (including spouse and kids, yea!) and encourages us to spill some sheep blood on the sacrificial altar.<<< A few years back, I read the version of colon cleansing mentioned in a first translation of the Essene Gospels of Peace (Edmond Bordeaux Szekely), decribed in some depth - if memory serves. The Essenes of Qumran were particularly fond of body cleansing, believing it was an outward sign of an inner transformation and that much dis-ease (being ill at ease with the physical vehicle) was a direct result of not caring for it properly. Ahhh..the wisdom of the ancients. Blessings, n
