Guest guest
> > Hi, Everyone, > I would like to know if anyone has experienced any changes in their heartbeat when on this diet. The past few days I've had an irregular extra beat happening. I went to see a doctor, who said it wasn't dangerous, and could be caused by thyroid problems. However I don't have any other syptoms of thyroid difficulty. The only other thing he said it might be would be age. This seems unlikely - I'm 39! One of the nurses mentioned electrolytes, but they took a blood sample and the doctor didn't say anything about this. > Is there a possibility it could be linked to the diet in some way? > Or could it be an allergic reaction? If anyone has any information, I'd be eternally grateful. Even if it's not dangerous, it's scary. Otherwise doing great. +++Hi Yee, That is wonderful you are doing great other than changes in your heart beat. Good for you! I understand it can be scary, but it is very common to have changes in heart beats on this program, that many people on this group have written about. Even now that I'm healthy I can also get them from time to time, depending upon stress, toxins I may happen to get, etc. Toxins being released on this program will cause many changes throughout your body, and they also increase the body's stress. That makes your body run on its fight/flight nervous system which increases hormones, like adrenaline, and other reactions. In order to switch your body off its fight/flight nervous system do deep breathing exercises: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/breath4.php Also do things that help your body detoxify as explained in this article: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/detox.php Allergic reactions are normal healing and detoxifying reactions created by the body itself - see this article to understand: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/heal11.php All the best, Bee
Guest guest
***My heart will skip or pound if I have healing reaction going on or if I have eaten something I shouldn't. I have definately noticed a pounding heart after having something with gluten. And it happened a lot when I first started the diet when my body was house cleaning. Guest guest
Hi , I had a similar situation. Intensity of my `normal' symptoms decreased with a diet, but I started to have this uncomfortable hard pounding with anxiety attacks, feeling even like a panic attacks. I never had these symptoms before, so I figured out it must be something connected to a diet I am on. Through the way of elimination I have figured out I was taking too much salt. I cut salt down and after three days all hart related symptoms are gone. All the best Dobrusia

In fact the sea salt is helping your body detoxify. Detoxing toxins is what can cause a pounding heart, anxiety, etc. Also if you or your body are stressed, and detoxification can cause stress, do deep breathing exercises to switch over from your fight/flight nervous system to the more healing nervous system: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/breath4.php All the best, Bee
Guest guest
I also have noticed accelerated heart rate and anxiety since I began taking sea salt. Before I was very 'calm' in a sense and lately (the past week since I started taking it) I feel more energy/anxiety/fast heartbeat. ________________________________ From: Bee <beeisbuzzing2003@...> Sent: Wed, February 16, 2011 4:59:45 AM Subject: [ ] Re: Heart rhythm change  > > Hi , > > I had a similar situation. Guest guest
Sea salt is healthy yes but its still high in sodium which can raise your blood pressure. The detox action of sea slat could cause some of the anxiety as well as the rising of your blood pressure. That's been my experience- sodium helps to raise blood pressure where as potassium seems to lower or stabilize it.

I made a clear observation however. Every time I increase salt drinks form 1 to 2 or 3 a day I end up having heart palpitations, arrhythmia and anxiety attacks. These symptoms occur about a day after increasing a salt and disappear about two days after cutting salt. I did three trials and every time same result. I also believe salt uptake shouldn't be the same for everyone. Salt needs in our bodies are triggered by how much we sweat, blood pressure, kidney functions and climate conditions, type of work we do, exercises and many more. Because I sweet little (so I don't lose salt), don't exercise, work in air condition lab and have poor kidney functions ( I think so because they hurt often) I believe I may need less salt then average person, I think that's also what my body is trying to tell me by heart pounding . Ps.Thank you for breathing excercises, I found them very good:) Kind regards, Dobrusia

Sea salt all by itself is not the direct " cause " of those symptoms, but it does work along with the diet and other supplements that help your body heal itself and those symptoms are typical healing symptoms that cannot be avoided. > I also believe salt uptake shouldn't be the same for everyone. > Salt needs in our bodies are triggered by how much we sweat, blood pressure, kidney functions and climate conditions, type of work we do, exercises and many more. +++The minimum sea salt intake for even healthy people is 1 teaspoon per day, even if they sweat, have blood pressure issues, etc. There's many people on this program who attribute their blood pressure lowering because of getting enough ocean sea salt. +++See these salt articles to understand it better: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/menu3_6_1.php > Ps.Thank you for breathing excercises, I found them very good:) +++That great!
