Guest guest
I have been taking cayenne pepper pills along with meals and it seems to have helped my digestion. I think they are about 500 mg and I try to take them right before the meal or in the middle. I tried to buy the HCL yesterday but GNC didn't sell it. I was wondering of I could finish off my bottle of cayenne pepper and then start the HCL when I am done. Does cayenne have any negative side effects? I also bought liquid Norwegian cod liver oil and was wondering how many teaspoons I should take a day and at what time. Here are the ingredients Vitamin A 460 IU Vitamin D 460 IU EPA 449 mg DHA 412 mg Also for the past two days I took about 10 tablespoons of coconut oil and got pretty intense healing reactions (which I like when I don't have anything to do because I know I am healing even though it feels bad.) I was wondering is it okay to do that often?

GNC isn't the best source of good supplements. I was wondering of I could finish off my bottle of cayenne pepper and then start the HCL when I am done. Does cayenne have any negative side effects? +++If you are doing okay having cayenne pepper you could finish them off. What kind of digestive problems were you having? I also bought liquid Norwegian cod liver oil and was wondering how many teaspoons I should take a day and at what time. Here are the ingredients > > Vitamin A 460 IU > Vitamin D 460 IU > EPA 449 mg > DHA 412 mg +++You need these amounts daily: Vitamin A: 20,000 IU - 30,000 IU Vitamin D: 800 IU - 1,200 IU Omega-3: 2,000 mg - 3,000 mg [EPA plus DHA] So you can see that you'd need a little more about 1 tablespoon (3 teaspoons) to get enough Omega-3, however that means you aren't getting enough A & D, so you need to buy another product that contains vitamin A & D, which is available in a fish " liver " oil capsule, i.e. from halibut, cod or shark. > > Also for the past two days I took about 10 tablespoons of coconut oil and got pretty intense healing reactions (which I like when I don't have anything to do because I know I am healing even though it feels bad.) I was wondering is it okay to do that often? +++Wow, that's too much coconut oil, which is a waste of money. Also your body throws off excess coconut oil it can't use. +++When you take more than is necessary it can overwhelm your body too which can stop or slow the healing processes. Pushing your body doesn't speed up healing at all since it will still take 1 month for every year, so why suffer? All the best, Bee
Guest guest
Hi Celeste, I had an idea for you for introducing eggs slowly without wasting a whole egg every time. Try making mayonnaise and/or caesar salad dressing. Both of them contain egg, but you wouldn't eat the entire recipe at one sitting. It would be hard to judge accurately just how much egg you'd be getting, but it would be a start. With the mayonnaise, you could make chicken or tuna salad. It is also nice over cooked veggies. I especially like it with tarragon! You don't necessarily have to have caesar dressing with salad if raw veggies bother your stomach. I eat caesar salad dressing as a dip or cold sauce with chicken, steak and ground meat. Bee has recipes for both of them on her website. http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/recipes/index.php Group Moderator > > I just have a GNC card so that is why I have been going to GNC for a lot of my > products. Guest guest
Dear Celeste, It is difficult to read your message since there are no breaks in your paragraphs. So would you mind re-posting it and put a line between your paragraphs, and also make it easier to find your questions. Guest guest
<snip> > The cayenne pepper has been helping my digestion a lot. However I am not sure how much to take and how many times per day. The cayenne pepper pills are 500 mg each. +++Hi Celeste. I don't recommend taking it so I can't help you. > > My digestion is still not functioning properly. I can only eat a select few foods without getting constipated, getting severe acne. I don't know what exactly is wrong with my digestion. This morning for example I woke up feeling sick and my stomach in pain on and off. +++If you go on this program too fast it can cause constipation as explained in Curing Candida, How to Get Started. +++Also, if you have been constipated in the past, before starting on this program your body will be retracing it while it is healing itself - see the article on " Retracing " on my website. +++When you get stomach pain taking 1/4 teaspoon of baking soda in 4-5 ounces of non-chlorinated water and just sip it until you pain subsides. > When I saw my acupuncturist a couple weeks ago she said something was off (she felt it when she felt my pulse.) She has been trying to help my digestion since I started seeing her but she said that she thinks something is wrong with my immune system. I took minocyclin and tetracyclin for a period of a few years which is why I think my digestion is so messed up and I can not tolerate any foods. +++I think you should do my 9-Day Program to help your digestion: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/dig6.php > > I started your plan about 6 months ago. However I was eating a lot of nuts and almond butter on it for the first 5 months. Since I cut out the nuts about a month ago I have noticed a huge change in my improvement. I am also going to the bathroom more then once a day (after I cut out the nuts and started the cayenne pepper supplement). +++So you are no longer constipated? Probably cutting out nuts helped you more than cayenne pepper. > > > I don't know if this diet will help my menstrual cramps but I hope it does. On a scale from 1-10 mine are a 10. +++It has certainly helped other women! I was also wondering about the 4000 mg of vitamin C because my nutrition teacher said that if you have more then 2000 mg you can get kidney stones. Thanks for the advice on the coconut oil I will not be taking anymore then 6 tablespoons per day. +++Chewing gum would be considered a cheat, so you need to make that decision for yourself. +++It is impossible to get kidney stones even on much higher doses of vitamin C than 4,000 mg. See " Vitamin C Does Not Cause Kidney Stones " http://www.orthomolecular.org/resources/omns/v01n07.shtml Bee
Guest guest
Hi Celeste, You don't need to wait until you can tolerate eggs to do the 9-Day program. Just purée your meat and veggies. No eggs required. Group Moderator > > > > Thanks I will try the 9 day program when I add eggs back into my diet.
