I have all the supplies to do the coffee enema (first timer) but I don't have a gallbladder... Is this still 'safe' to do? > +++Hi Lori, Yes, it is perfectly safe to do the coffee enema if you don't have a gall bladder. When the liver is relieved of its toxins it is better able to produce bile, which is let down through the bile ducts directly into the first part of the small intestine. However, when you do not have a gall bladder it is important to: 1) Eat meals at the same time every day so your liver gets " used to " letting down bile. 2) Do not snack or have anything but liquids in between meals, since having snacks or foods will confuse the liver as to when it should let down bile. All the best, Bee
