Guest guest
Hey guys and girls, I get acne on and around my nose area... this has been going on for about 8 years I guess. It seems as if my skin has been effected so much it has changed to be permanently red-ish looking. A few years ago I was using Proactiv which is an acne cleansing cream... it contains horrible ingredients like benzoyl peroxide, salicylic acid and glycolic acid. Could these ingredients have done permanent damage to my skin? The red-ness seems to get worse in colder temperatures. I think the blood flow in my nose isnt very strong. I've been taking the Nutritional Yeast Flakes (as well as the supplements) now for about 9 months but nothing has really changed. I still get acne on my nose but not so much around the sides and below it anymore. Any ideas on how to reduce the skin redness? Thanks

You say you are taking all of the supplements, which I assume means you are also on my diet. Your acne and reddish skin is caused by toxins coming out through the skin, which is a normal way for our bodies to get rid of toxins (detoxify). It appears that is one of the favorite ways your body likes to get rid of toxins. So you wouldn't only be retracing your past acne symptoms so your acne would stop, since our bodies need to detoxify its own waste products from digesting and using nutrients every day, in addition to getting rid of toxins from other sources. I've known other people who detoxified through their skin too, and even after they are healthy they can get some minor skin issues. But eventually it should improve, so hang in there. All the best, Bee
Guest guest
Hey Bee, Thanks for the feedback. Yes, my main detoxing methods my body seems to use is acne, tongue thrush and loose bowels every now and then. I also have what must be inflammed nasal passages... at least one side of my nose is blocked completely. they seem to rotate between block/semi-clear. I have been on the diet since last april/may. only had a couple of small cheats along the way (ie. a little potato or carrot once or twice). Just gotta keep at it I guess! > > > > Hey guys and girls, > > > > I get acne on and around my nose area... this has been going on for about 8 years I guess.
