Why does having Candida have this diarrhea effect?? Is it because the yeast is in the intestine? +++Hi Tammy, Candida is caused by poor health including: 1. Lack of proper nutrition and oxygen. 2. Accumulation of toxins, poisons, and waste (includes an inability by the body to detoxify itself). <NOTE 3. Lowered vitality (energy) due to stress, shock, injury, emotional upsets, relationship or financial worries and concerns, being unhealthy, etc. 4. Poor " nutritional status " acquired from parents upon conception. Diarrhea is mainly caused by toxins the body needs to get rid of, just like detoxifying toxins causes many other symptoms and reactions, i.e. headaches, upset stomach, rashes and other abnormal skin problems, etc. So it's not directly caused by candida.
