Guest guest
I've tried the coconut oil -- gives me palpitations every time. I've eliminated sugars, but if I eliminated grains, I'd shrivel up to nothing. I found a site the other day that suggested our good bacteria feed on whole grains just like candida does. I am taking garlic... I was told to try some lemon water with a little ginger, as I'm so cold all the time (and lemons are bitter, which can make one cold -- just a peppers can make one spicy hot!) THANKS for the tips! I appreciate everyone's input! d. > > > > Dan > > THere are a number of good sites on dealing with candida. > > Enjoy seasoning with oregano, liberally, plus cayenne, ginger and garlic. > > Elminate grains, sugar in all forms, and fermented/cultured foods except for > yoghurt and kefir. > > Add 3 to 4 tablespoons of virgin coconut oil to your diet daily. Guest guest
I too have this issue. I believe that it is due to our livers overloading and the toxins spilling over into the blood. The body protects us from toxins by storing them in fat. It happens to me when I increase doses and don't pamper my liver. It may be different for others as to why but that is what I have found. Steph gaining weight Why is it that Iodoral is making me gain weight? I wss taking 25 mg a day, then I ran out, and didnt have any for a month, now I am taking 50 mg, and have noticed Im gaining weight... whats up with that? What do I need to do to continue with iodine and loose pounds? thanks,...robert from columbus ohio
Guest guest
I would suspect the weight gain is diet, not iodine alone. Perhaps it is making the body more efficient. Losing weight is usually done by cutting carbs... Bruce gaining weight Why is it that Iodoral is making me gain weight? Guest guest
I found that eating a lot of fiber ( 15 grams or more) per day and a green tea supplement has helped me to start showing some signs of weight loss. Guest guest
www.naet.com It's very expensive at my doc's office. It requires several treatments and they sell them in packages - I think they are $300 or 400 . Steph Re: gaining weight Call me crazy, but you are allergic to minerals. Guest guest
Hi Bee, I was curious if you had any recomendations that can assist in gaining weight. As I have mentioned before a lost a good 5 to 10 pounds on the program and was quite skinny to begin with. I am working on 9 weeks in and I am a little more than half way through the enema program. So I am curious is there anything I can do to gain weight at this point, I have read your post stating advising against extra meals but maybe in this case should I add an extra meal between lunch and dinner? yet I understand your post about the liver laerning when to releaes bile is very important...so this obviously might not be a good idea. I have been been trying to increase my fat and protien portions without going in debt but seen little difference. Do you think the enemas are keeping my weight down? Ok bee. hope all is well god bless casey

Ok bee. hope all is well +++Hi Casey, Weight is the least of your issues when you are sick. Right now your body needs all of its resources and energy to heal and detoxify itself, so it isn't able to work on building muscles or fat. Weighing less does not mean you are worse off or will get worse if you are totally on this program since you know you are getting all of the nutrients your body needs. As you become more healthy your weight will normalize. So, no I wouldn't recommend anything that will help you gain weight, since anything that would increase weight would cause health problems, i.e. carbs/sugars. All the best, Bee
