I love the gallon price!

+++Hi ,

Do not have any " refined " coconut oil, which means it has been processed by

bleaching, hydrogenation, deodorization, etc.

Hi . I did express my concern in my earlier post that although New

Direction UK sells Organic unrefined virgin coconut oil, the US and Canada sites

don't for some inexplicable reason.

You could try ringing and asking why they don't do it - they are all part of the

same company! The more that ask about it, the more likely they are to stock

it....

Regards, Ali.

PS, it might be an interesting exercise to do some research and see if there are

any other 'cosmetic' or 'aromatherapy' suppliers who supply organic virgin CO in

your country. You never know, you might find a better and cheaper source that

way - I did, by just doing some research.

+++ Ya, I know you did so I wanted to check the site to see what all they had

available...

++ keyword suggestions?

Thanks

Green pasture's coconut oil by the gallon is not that much more that the website

listed on this last post($4-5) and is wonderful coconut oil! With shipping, it

ends up being around $46-47.

They also have a product of coconut oil and ghee combined, and I eat that now

instead of the straight coconut oil in the egg drink - although I just went over

to look at it again, and they have changed their website to say " butter wax "

instead of ghee (although they are still using that term as well). Hope " butter

wax " is ok... not ever heard that before, but the site says it is a raw product

that is left after they make butter oil. Interesting.

Anyway, I love the stuff. - Lilithe

Hi Ali and ,

Here's a great company where you can get unrefined coconut oil, including

Tropical Traditions and Blue Breeze, along with other supplements:

Thanks Bee - I have looked at the Red 23 site before, but there is a big

difference between the £29 - £30 per litre they charge for coconut oil and the

£9 per litre/kg for virgin unrefined oil (or less if you buy in bulk) from ND

UK.

My husband is retired and we are on a very limited income, so any saving I can

make makes a big difference in whether I can afford to have a product or not.

As I can go through a litre of oil every two or three weeks, that is a big help.

Regards, Ali.
