Guest guest
Just curious what your thoughts are on " morning sickness " , which for me seems to manifest as all day nausea (having 8 children so far, I do have a little experience with pregnancy symptoms, so I know this nausea well. Accompanied by exhaustion, it's definitely " morning sickness " , not a healing reaction type thing.). I was hopeful that not consuming any carbs, except a few non-starchy veggies, staying withing ratio, would be a deterrent to the queazies, but they seem to hitting with just as much force as before, today even seems worse. The mainstream advice to nibble crackers or sip ginger-ale certainly isn't a possibility. So far, my attempts to eat smaller meals more frequently has helped a little, but food is so unappealing that eating every 2-3 hours is proving difficult. But going longer than that actually makes it worse. I experienced that in the past, and it's holding true this time as well, so far.
Guest guest
Congratulations on your pregnancy! How about slicing some ginger into a pot and steeping it, and then drinking the ‘tea’ . It helps me combat nausea/motion sickness and may work for you too. For a standard size pot I use approximately 1 ½ inches of ginger cut into slices and steep five minutes. Discard ginger slices and enjoy. Soothing….straight to the point. Can also be taken cooled if you prefer. I find it soothing with boiling water though, like tea. HTH, Jen B. The marrow in them is so nutritious - see this article: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/bone3.php I don't think you should avoid carbs; instead cook vegetables until they are well done as this article explains: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/veg3.php You can puree the vegetables too, which makes them easier to digest, and add them to the bone broth. I think the best vegetables are broccoli, cauliflower, and green beans. Since you've been pregnant before being pregnant again can trigger memories of it from before. Do deep breathing exercises to help get focused more in the here and now. Also take walks outside and look around a lot, to help your mind get more into present time instead of in the past. I hope you get past this very soon. All the best, Bee
