Guest guest
Hi , I agree with Bee. One of the hardest things for me when I started the program was to stop going to the gym. I was worried I would lose to much weight and muscle. However, after being on the program for sometime I started to notice I actually had put on muscle and lost fat. It is a myth we need to consume carbs to build muscle as I have been on the all meats/fats program for over a year. Stick to the program and you will build strength in your legs! When you're unhealthy your body must put most of its resources and energy into getting healthy and not into muscles which are less important for health than ensuring the health of internal organs like the heart, liver, digestive system, etc. Of course toxins make the muscles weak too. When your body becomes more efficient detoxifying itself your muscles will have more strength too. Also muscles are made up of cells, and in order for all cell membranes to be healthy they must be constructed out of 50% saturated fats, i.e. butter, lard, coconut oil and other natural occurring animal fats, which takes time. In the meantime toxins make all cell membranes rigid/stiff that causes another problem since red blood cells will also be rigid as explained in this article and they carry oxygen and nutrients to all cells: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/cabout1.php Of course carbs make anyone unhealthy! Guest guest
Hey, I just came read this after sending an email to you guys about weight and muscle strength. I thought I had asked another dumb question. This does make sense, because even though I still have pain and fatigue, I believe I am gaining muscle strength or mass, although any muscle effort on my behalf causes pain.. Also, can it be that fibromyalgia can be caused by muscle weakness (and stress) and have nothing to do with Candida, although I see the connection? This diet is very difficult, not the eating part. Personally I love my eggs breakfasts and thinking up meat and veg dishes. Bye the way, thanks for the recipes. They are a saviour.
