Guest guest
Sometimes I get my husband to rub our electric massage hand held unit over my back when Im in severly intense pain, and I have noticed that when he goes over a certain part just to the left of my spine towards the center between the two shoulder blades that it feels like he's hitting something that sends like a shock like feeling around the left side going towards under my left boob. Its uncomfortable, but makes me wonder if this is all related. Do you know what I mean? Hi Carol. Sorry I didn't respond earlier, but my computer crashed and I haven't been able to read or respond to anything for several days - I'm just catching up now. Interestingly I get a similar thing between my shoulder-blades on the left side and have had issues there for the best part of 30 years - it used to be very itchy and I would constantly have to get my husband to scratch it for me, but then that went away for a short while and eventually it started getting painful instead. I have had a 'weak' back for some years now and would have to make sure my back was supported when sitting. I originally thought maybe it was something to do with my weight problem but when I lost some weight and it was still there I then thought it might be to do with my pancreas, or liver, and I suppose that is possible - I am Diabetic, so my pancreas is obviously compromised anyway, but recently I have been having some Acupuncture. The lady who does that, when I told her about the issue between my SB, said that apparently, in chinese medicine, the small intestine is linked to the shoulder-blades - something to do with the nerve meridians. That meridian starts in the little finger, goes up the left arm, across to the SB and down through the intestine into the leg. It is only in recent times that I discovered I am very gluten intolerant. By the time I picked up on it, a lot of damage had been done in my gut and I am still trying to recover from that. As I am sitting here now, I can feel it itching. my back muscle there is also quite tense. Two of the gluten symptoms I had for years were restless legs and 'burning' feet, both of which went when I dumped the gluten, so maybe there is something in that. There is another possibility too, that your lymph may be sore or even blocked - and as Bee says, gentle massage may be better than hard. As that is connected to under the arm and around the bust, it is possible that too is a trigger. I have had a LOT of activity going on in my lymph under and around my left armpit, back, shoulder and neck. There is obviously an issue there that has been going on for a long time and my body is trying to deal with it. Just recently I had a big clear-out in my lymph. I know there is a problem, because apart from the discomfort - that gets worse as the day wears on and settles a bit overnight, which suggests something to do with my digestion, my left armpit is often smelly when I awake, whilst my right one isn't, and never has been. I have been gluten and dairy-free for the last 3 years, and on Bee's diet for nealry 11 months. Whilst I am still struggling with this issue and with my digestion, quite a few other things have been healing or improving over that time. It is quite possible that your heart issues have been driven by carbs and sugars in the Western Diet and the damage they do - just last week I was doing research on all the health issues that can be benefited by a low-carb or even Ketogenic diet that is high in nutrition, and they are many and varied. Fat is apparently the preferred fuel for the heart, and it is amazing what the body can do when we give it enough nutrition. These days the emphasis is on calories, when it should be on nutrients - because most people are eating food that will never give them enough of those vital elements for restoration and repair. My body is taking longer than some people's to get going, simply because of the damage in my gut and the malabsorption issues caused by the gluten et al. But gradually it is starting to respond. I am not sure if this is of any help, but I hope that you can progress on the diet and benefit from it. Regards, Ali.
