Guest guest
Oh yes, , I agree that all candida sufferers have digestive issues. I meant that I believe he no longer has digestive issues, although it is quite possible. He never complains of tummy upset. He used to have chronic diarrhea with undigested foods in the stool prior to starting Bee's diet. I think it's possible that he's healed most of that because he no longer has those issues and he's been on the diet (with the exception of those 3 months before Christmas) for nearly 3 years and he's 6 years old. My concern is with him swallowing the capsules. I grind all of his vitamins into a powder and put them into his foods. With the oil-based vitamins, he bites them and sucks out the oil. With the HCl, he couldn't very well do that with the HCl capsules because it would burn his mouth, throat and esophagus. So that's why I was wondering how small they are. I've ordered the HCL from that site that you gave me. Thank you. I may have to hold off on giving them to him until he's older so he can learn to swallow pills. I will work on it, though. I can sometimes convince him to do things he thinks he can not do - but not always! I see that they recommend giving a punch of the capsule contents to younger children. I don't think that's a good idea because I would think it would cause burning and they are recommending that pinch to be eaten with food, which is, as I understand it, the wrong time. HCl needs to be taken after a meal. Anyway, I'm curious to see what improvements my son could achieve by taking them. All the best, Group Moderator > > Hi , I think all candida sufferers have digestive issues to varrying extents according to the severity of their illness. As we know nutritional deficiencies and candida itself inhibit the production of enzymes and Hcl. For those not severely afflicted, inproving nutrition and reducing their candida will sort out their digestion easily but I believe that those with more severe issues may need to use Hcl for a while - even children. Because of the way the brain is affected,(an organ the body will do it's utmost to protect) autists belong in this category, so I think it might be worth giving Hcl a try even if it's just as an experiment. It took a lot of courage - and a lot of fights with my husband! especially to get them up to full dose, which turned out to be around 1500 for my daughter but is now down to 400mg. It was very clear very quickly that it had an inpact - it put them into a very obvious healing crisis! As you described with that lovely metaphor of the onion - Hcl was a major layer in their healing. It taught us how big a part of the picture digestion issues were and helped us decide to give up on the uncooked veg and then veg altogether for a while. Their bottoms are runnier as they detox but all of the other symptoms are massively better( I don't know how much you remember of our history, but my kids were very poorly) They are now determinedly sprinting ahead of their 'normal' peers in every department! You can I believe achieve a full recovery for your son( if one can deserve such a thing - you certainly do!) Don't settle for anything else! > Lots of love >

Guest guest
Hi , Could you be specific about how you went about using the HCL? I think your children are a little older than mine (dd is 2yo). What were the symptoms that made you feel HCL was a good idea? Was there any pain for them? What exactly were the healing reactions and how long did they last? And lastly, where exactly can we buy the little pills? Your argument is very convincing :-) Thanks so much for sharing all of your experiences! in VA ________________________________ From: annasingh54 <annasingh54@...> Sent: Sat, March 19, 2011 5:18:40 PM Subject: [ ] Re; Hcl for kids - Hi , I think all candida sufferers have digestive issues to varrying extents according to the severity of their illness. Guest guest
Hi , my youngest son was about 5 when I started to use Hcl so yes that is quite a bit older. The interesting thing though is that he seemed to need the same dose as my eldest daughter at 11. I follow Bee's recommendation for taking it 45 minutes after food and graduly finding the correct dose increasing it bit by bit. How bad is your child's digestion? Do you cook all the veg really well? Do you give her plenty of broth which is so lovely for the digestion? The trouble with a two year old is that they may not be able to commuicate clearly that their stomach is burny which is what you are looking for in terms of knowing that you have the right dose. You could just give her one and see what happens. It was pretty obvious quite quickly that it gave them healing reactions and was therefore helping. Make sure you have bicarb around to counteract any burny feelings incase she gets them staight away. As far as I can remember I sent the link for where to get the very small Hcls in my last message to . Hope this helps, > > Hi , > Could you be specific about how you went about using the HCL? Guest guest
Thanks , Her reflux seems to be controlled by diet pretty much- just some hiccups and burping. But her stool is still full of undigested food. She does drink broth in Bee's egg drink. I think I'm going to try to be more consistent with sauerkraut juice as an alternative to HCL, and see if that doesn't help. We are a year on the diet and I just want to make sure I'm not missing anything. Thanks again, ________________________________ From: annasingh54 <annasingh54@...> Sent: Tue, March 22, 2011 5:11:31 PM Subject: [ ] Re: Re; Hcl for kids - Hi , my youngest son was about 5 when I started to use Hcl so yes that is quite a bit older.
