Guest guest
Hi Bee, I recently purchased Filippo Berio Extra Virgin olive oil, cold pressed, and for the past couple of days i have taken one tsp of olive oil with each of three meals per day, along wiht all other fats, proteins, and supplements,CO,sea salt, and butter(ghee). Is extra virgin olive oil considered a healing food, and therefore cause somemore healing or increase/intestify healing. I think it has affected my skin, as my rashes have intesified a little again since introducing the olive oil over the past few days. I decided to add some in when i saw you recommed it to another group member to have some olive oil daily is good for you. So i figured i would try tsp with each meal as i said earlier. So just wondering if it actually considered a healing food, and is it fine , and recommended to continue with my one tsp with each of three meals. Thank you, Caine.............. If it is, it is not in a dark bottle, which means it can be damaged by light and already be rancid when you buy it: http://www.filippoberio.com/Products/ExtraVirgin.asp See this article to determine whether it is rancid: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/recipes/fats3.php However, if you get the right kind it can help. I just tested it for it being rancid, and it's fine, tastes and smells good. Thank you, i will continue to use it then, at one tsp three times daily, unless you recommend a different dosage that would be more beneficial. Also the fillipoberio is organic, but are there any olive oil that you recommend personally, that they sell in canadian store likr safeway, or sobeys. Thank you again, Caine.................... I bought my bottle at Superstore, natural foods aisle, but it is very strong. All the best, Bee
