Guest guest
Does anyone know of an essential oil that would help with impetigo? My daughter's roommate has it and I'm concerned about a) the roommate, that it is contagious, c) what causes it, etc. Thanks. Janis

It is caused by the same virus that causes strept throat. Rather than affecting the throat, it sometimes affects the skin. It is highly contagious, specially from the clear liquid inside the sores. My daugher used to have to bathe with Physohex liquid (a prescription cleanser), and take an oral antibiotic. HTH Irma
Guest guest
My daughter, also used to get it. If not gotten under control, it can affect the internal organs. She was given out of date antibiotics and ended up in the hospital for 2 weeks. It affected her kidneys, I believe. Don't mess around with it. We came very close to losing her. True story. BTW I believe you meant bacteria and not virus. Daughter was allergic to phisohex so that was not an option. Guest guest
Hi Bee, My 8 year old son has impetigo, some sores developing on his back. He is only about 50% on your program. (He mainly eats as I do, but he still has an egg sandwich for school each day, occasional fruit/sultanas for school morning tea, still has milk and yoghurt too). So I don't know if you can advise me here. But if you are able, what should I do? Of course, the standard medical treatment is antibiotics. However, he will do better if he gets 100% on my program. In the meantime apply unrefined coconut oil which may increase the symptoms at first, but that is because it is helping it heal. All the best, Bee

Guest guest
Hi Bee, I've been applying the coconut oil to my son's sores on his back. Actually, I've been giving him salt baths as well. Moving him further into the diet too. Slowly. However, the sores are spreading. They start out as little red pimples and then start weeping sores expanding outwards in perimeter. Of course, I understand it's healing taking place. But, now as his mum, I'm starting to get a little panicked at times. I mean, I don't know how far the sores will spread. I'm taking him to the doctor today. I'm thinking I may give him the antibiotics and just trust his body to detox those. What do you think in these type of situations. Blessings, > > > > > > Hi Bee, > > > > > > My 8 year old son has impetigo, some sores developing on his back. > > > > > > He is only about 50% on your program. What do you think in these type of situations. +++Hi , As I wrote before his skin problem will get worse before it gets better because of how the body heals and detoxifies itself. So the fact that it is spreading means even more toxins are coming out, so don't be concerned about how far they spread. His body is doing its job of healing, and to interfere with that means toxins will be driven deeper into his body, along with toxins from antibiotics, and they will only have to come out later as worse symptoms or debilitation. Read this article on Inflammation and Infection so you'll understand more and not panic, since Nature is doing its job: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/nature3.php Ensure you give him Epsom salt baths, and not salt baths which are irritating to the skin. Also the water shouldn't be too hot. Healing hugs to your dear son, Bee
Guest guest
Hi again Bee, Because my son has this impetigo, does that indicate candida. He doesn't display any other health issues that indicate candida to me. But, of course he has been ingesting bread, so who knows what's really happening internally. Could he follow your healthy diet with the occasional cheese/cream. Or is it best to just stick with plain candida program.
