TB skin testing

Dear Bee,

I am required to get a Tuberculosis skin test to volunteer at a

hospital (plus MMR vaccinations, but the ones I had as a teenager may

still be valid--not sure.)

In message #44020 you advise someone to avoid TB skin testing, and

that the purified protein derivative (PPD) in the test is dangerous.

But in message #72370 you say that it is harmless.

Did you find something else out about TB tests in between the 2 messages?

If I have to get the TB skin test and/or the MMR vaccinations, is

there something I could do to help detox? More Vitamin C, maybe?

Thanks a million,
