Gail,

It's certainly like that for us gluten free people (well, which I guess is all

of us on here).  If you give up something for awhile then have a whole big

helping of it, your body certainly lets you know.

Subject: [ ] Results of Bad Cheat

Just thought I'd relay an experience I had recently. I went to another state a

couple weeks ago for my nephew's wedding. I decided that since I've been pretty

strict on this diet for just ending my 8th month I would go out on a limb and

have a " Bad Cheat " (Wedding Cake of course!) I found it fascinating that about

20 minutes after eating the cake I developed a runny nose and started to become

stuffed up like an allergy then my adrenals started to hurt. I was wondering why

I've eaten Junk for soooooooooooooo many years and never had any noticable

adverse reactions to what I ate and I think that's because my body was

sooooooooooo sick it couldn't react. I think the reaction I had to the cake was

because my body has healed enough to do what it's suppose to do...work at

expelling toxins from the body. I just found that whole experience very

interesting. So I guess there is some progress happening although I still have

not gained an ounce in 8 months. Gail (curlygirl)

+++Hi Gail,

You are absolutely correct that your body has healed enough so it can do its

job. You are really understanding the healing and detoxifying processes and

that IS progress, along with the progress your body is making!
