Guest guest
Hi Bee, I am going well on the diet. Was having heart palps and chest pains a couple of months ago, but all have cleared up now. Strange thing happening to me now. My two thumbs are going numb and so are my lips and parts of my face. Been searching messages re numbing and obvious thing is retracing. Perhaps retracing cold fingers and dental work. I did mention the numbness to my doctor and he talked about carbon dioxide / calcium levels causing the numbess. I didn't get the drift of what he was talking about. Can you or some other member help me out here, if you're able, could you explain this 'phenomemen' re carbon dioxide, or point me in the right direction to where I could learn about it. Blessings,

Good for you! You are right, that numbing can be retracing times when your fingers got very cold and by novacaine or numbing agents used for dental work. My brother called me last year and said I'm having a stroke. After he described that half of his face was numb I said I don't think you had a stroke. Was there any time in the past you got pumped full of novacaine? He confirmed it, since one dentist seemed to pump so much in that he wanted to stop him. After he was finished even his eye wouldn't move like it should. Other kinds of toxins that can cause numbness too. Also toxins make all of the body's cell membranes rigid/stiff, which is most noticeable in the extremities like fingers, toes, nose, lips, which are supplied by very tiny capillaries (blood vessels). Under normal conditions, red blood cells carry oxygen throughout the body; red blood cells must be flexible enough to squeeze down to about one-seventh their normal size in order to travel into the body's tiny capillaries. However toxins cause red blood cell walls to become more rigid/stiff. As a result, red blood cells have difficulty squeezing into the tiny capillaries, and the transport of life-giving oxygen to all the tissues and organs of the body are impaired. Deprived of sufficient oxygen, these tissues and organs lose their ability to function. See this article: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/cabout1.php It stands to reason it may also interfere with the cells ability to get rid of carbon dioxide. Blessings to you too.
