Guest guest
Hi, It's really important that I rebuild the strength in my legs but I'm finding it difficult to do that on this diet. I'm reasonably healthy in other respects apart from my chronic pain so I should be able to regain my strength. I have benefited from this diet and I'd like to stick with it, but I've always been taught that it's difficult to gain muscle and lose weight at the same time, and on this diet I'm always slowly losing weight. So I'm tempted to eat a lot of carbs to get enough calories to build muscle. This is the way I used to do it. Is this necessary? What else can I do? When you're unhealthy your body must put most of its resources and energy into getting healthy and not into muscles which are less important for health than ensuring the health of internal organs like the heart, liver, digestive system, etc. Of course toxins make the muscles weak too. When your body becomes more efficient detoxifying itself your muscles will have more strength too. Also muscles are made up of cells, and in order for all cell membranes to be healthy they must be constructed out of 50% saturated fats, i.e. butter, lard, coconut oil and other natural occurring animal fats, which takes time. In the meantime toxins make all cell membranes rigid/stiff that causes another problem since red blood cells will also be rigid as explained in this article and they carry oxygen and nutrients to all cells: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/cabout1.php Of course carbs make anyone unhealthy! As I just wrote, toxins cause muscle and joint pain and also fatigue. That's why you should not over-exercise since it takes away resources and strength your body needs to heal itself. Instead do these mild forms of exercise: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/health3.php You are very welcome for the recipes. For others reading this, recipes are on my website: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/recipes/index.php And also I have a Candida Recipes Group: Recipes_For_Candida_Healing/ As I get time I post recipes from the group onto my website.
