Me neither - that's why I suggested it :>) -

Would love to hear anyone's experiences....

QUOTED> Specific 5-LOX inhibitors are already available, for example

Zileuton, which is used in the treatment of asthma. Some herbal

extracts also inhibit 5-LOX. These include aethiopinone, silymarin

(silybin, silibinin) and boswellia (boswellic acids). There are even

herbal dual inhibitors - ginger for example.

NB zileuton is the active in " Zyflo "

Hi Bee, I was reading your posts about aspirin type products interfere with the

healing process. Your site mentions boswellia-

http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/arth3.php

http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/treat3.php

This is one of many on the web about its properties

http://www.suite101.com/blog/daisyelaine/boswellia_reduces_inflammation

The titles mention it reduces inflammation, but it seems boswellia helps the

body produce inflammation that leads to healing.

The mediherb mentioned in the first article is very expensive, and is there

another alternative boswellia complex? White willow bark does not control my

pain. I think I am retracing an auto accident I had years ago. Plus a few months

ago, I got shook up badly in an auto accident. Please let me know how you feel

about using boswellia, and complexes with it and ginger, etc. Thanks.

+++Hi C.,

You don't need anything else other than this program to help your body produce

any inflammation it needs in order to heal - see Inflammation & Infection Are

Natural Healing Processes:

http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/nature3.php

Therefore, trying to reduce inflammation doesn't help since those are the

processes needed in order to heal.

First, where is your pain located, i.e. what parts of your body were damaged

during your accident?

Maybe you should get a consultation with me - see this page:

http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/consult.php

All the best, Bee

Thanks Bee,

It is my lower back that is now hurting me. It started a couple of weeks after

the accident. At that time I seemed to be just sore a few days, so not really

sure it is related to the accident. I thought perhaps just the bending and

stooping I usually do, had started to bother me. I have fibromyalgia, but it

improved on your diet. Lower back pain did not seem to be a problem before

though. The pain felt like the time I lifted too much, but that pain was in my

shoulders. I had been off my medication-neurontin and muscle relaxer for about a

year. I went several days with pain so bad, I had a hard time working, and was

very nauseous. I could not sleep much at all. Then, the last few days, I took a

neurontin at night, and a flexeril(muscle relaxer). 2 days ago I started to feel

some better, so cut the flexeril in 1/2. I plan to cut down and quit them the

next few days. I got to thinking it had been about 25 years since my first

accident, and then I was hurting all over, and took me months to start feeling

better. I have been on the diet about 25 months, so thought about it might be

retracing. I have been on the diet about 90 %, and my ratios of fat, protein,

and carbs have been right. I get less than 25 grams carbs. The supplements I

have taken as suggested. I am working now to get 100% on the diet. My body is

really good now at detoxing anything I do get off diet. I though too the pain

may be related to stress, and was under more stress than usual. The accident

itself was very stressful. I am also making me some fresh ginger tea, as it is

mentioned to help pain and the nausea. Hope this is not too long. I am not sure

I could afford a consultation. I only work 3 days a week. Thanks.

+++Hi C.,

You certainly understand retracing. Good for you!

For lower back pain mix oil of oregano 50/50 with olive oil, and rub the mixture

into the area; apply heat for about 1 hour, leaving it on.

You can tape plastic wrap over it to protect clothing and the heating pad or hot

water bottle. Oil of oregano is just as powerful a pain killer as morphine.

Stress makes your body run on its fight/flight nervous system, so do deep

breathing exercises to switch it off:

http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/breath4.php

Also take Epsom salt baths.

I hope that helps.

>Thanks Bee,

Actually, I forgot to mention, I did try some nights mixing oregano oil with

some coconut oil, and rubbing it in. It did not seem to help, but I don't think

I did it 50 %. Also tried a heating pad, but it was at a separate time. So I

will work at getting it right. Thanks again. I do deep breathing, but with

limited success. I will keep it up though.
