Hi Bee,

I am new to the group and I was wondering what tests you would recommend for a

child with autism? Our DAN doctor wants us to do an essential elements blood

test to determine what our son may be deficient in, Do you think this is worth

while?

Thank you,

Margaret

+++Hi Margaret,

No it isn't worthwhile since no one should rely on blood tests for a lack of

nutrients and hormones, and then supplement accordingly.

That is because they use vein blood for the tests, which is AFTER the cells have

taken what they need or can use, along with natural waste products from the

cells including carbon dioxide breathed out through the lungs.

Vein blood does not tell you what is happening at a cellular level, which is

where nutrients and hormones do their job. See this message I posted on the

group to understand more:

/message/103259

There are three autistic boys on this program who are getting healthy because

they are getting all of the nutrients their bodies need.

One is 's son (she's our moderator) and she has written tons of messages

about him. So do a search of our group's messages, and also see 's

Hi Margaret, I too am one of the other mums with an autistic child getting

better on this diet. I have also had a DAN doctor and followed the DAN protocol.

It was an inportant step on the way to learning what we now know, but if I can

help support you so that you do not have to waste so much time as we did, feel

free to ask. ARI and DAN are very aware what a big part yeast has in the

autistic picture and their research and anecdotal evidence is very useful, but

all the diets that they use to try and contend with this problem (GAPS,SCD) are

no way near as effective as Bee' program, they can not compete with her program

for not just dealing with the candida, but actually healing the body with the

correct nutrition.

Don't hesitate to ask if there is anymore I can do to help

All the best,

Thank you for your help . I am feeling so overwhelmed right now with a

teenage daughter who is pregnant and wants to keep the baby. I have been in

deep depression since December. I am trying to take some steps to change his

diet. It is difficult to focus right now.

Thank you again!!

Hi ,

I just thought of something else, if you have a list of supplements you use with

your children could you list those. When do you add them into the diet? How

long has your son been on the diet? How long does it take to see results? Is

there a specific protocol for autism with Bee's diet? I have ADHD and often want

to see things happen right away. I know this is a marathon not a sprint but it

is so difficult for me to stick with something if I don't see results quickly.

Thanks again,

Margaret

+++Hi Margaret,

would give her children the supplements recommended in my article " Candida

Treatments for Babies and Children " :

http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/baby.php

The timing for seeing results varies for each child/person, which depends upon

many factors. With natural healing there are no quick fixes, so it is important

to be patient and consistent long enough. Even after that a person will get

sick again and again if they do not follow the basic principles of this program

so they can have life-long health.

After getting completely on this program (diet plus supplements) it takes 1

month of natural healing for every year a person has been unhealthy, and for

most people today that is since before they were born (so you also add about 1

month for time in the womb). However, I've seen some children that needed much

longer.

Therefore it is important to learn enough so you feel this is the answer. I

suggest you read more about Healing Naturally:

All the best, Bee
