Hi, one question.

I left out my cod liver oil outside the fridge after I used it and noticed I

left the cod liver oil out after 3 hours or so. I've done this twice already.

Do you think it's still safe to continue taking it or should I buy a new one....

I mean..even cod liver oils do go rancid pretty fast, it can't go rancid in few

hours can it? It is winter time, so it wans't in direct sunlight or anything.

Just lest out for 3 hours. Can you tell if it has gone rancid by the appearance

or taste? I guess I'm just worried too much, but just to make sure I asked this

question. Thank you.

Reen...

I left mine out for almost a week because I did not realize it had to be

refrigerated. I took a tablespoon of it and it tasted fine and someone else

emailed one of the companies and said unless it tastes rancid, it's more than

likely okay to use. I'm still using mine and haven't noticed any side effects

from it (stomach ache, etc.). And you only left yours out for 3 hours I'm sure

it's totally okay.

+++Hi Reen,

Leaving cod liver oil outside the fridge for a few hours wouldn't cause it to go

rancid that fast.

Rancid is defined as: " having a rank smell and taste. "

If the oil tastes bad, it probably IS bad.

Rancid oil will have an unusual smell to it and taste bitter.

All the best, Bee
