Is it okay to drink the mineral rich bone broth throughout the day with 2

tablespoon of coconut oil while on the fat/protein program? The broth with

coconut oil taste so good that I find myself drinking several cups per day.

Oils you cook with should it be counted into daily fat intake?

How close to 80/20 should I be? Most days I stay 80/20 but sometimes it's 79/20

or 84/16.

I love liver and onions but onions are a no no. Can I still cook the onions with

the liver or onions with any other meat and disgard the onions after cooking? Do

I still need to put the amount of onions in fit day as a carb?

I'm also happy to report that since being on the protein fat program I have no

more bloating.

Thanks

Colleen

+++Hi Colleen,

That's fabulous you have no more bloating. You go girl!

Yes you can have the mineral-rich bone broth with coconut oil when on the all

meat and fat program, if you aren't adding any vegetables of any kind. Spices

are okay, which helps flavor it, but add them when you begin to cook the broth

so they are very well-cooked.

It is difficult to know how much of oils you cook foods in are absorbed into the

food, unless you measure it before, and also pour the oil from the pan over the

foods after they are cooked.

Your ratios are above are okay, even though they vary a little.

You can add onions or garlic for flavor and discard them, but don't add them to

your ratios.

All the best, Bee
