that was laying on the driveway and split his forehead open yesterday. I took

him to the ER last night and, contrary to my desires, they persuaded me to let

them put dermabond (liquid stitches) on the cut, which did not make the opening

any smaller. Should I try to get the dermabond off with hydrogen peroxide? Are

there any topical treatments that will minimize the scar, since it's right in

the middle of his forehead?

instead they gave him the full Diptheria, Pertusis, Tetanus combo, against my

response to the poison they injected him with? He's fully on the program - diet

and supplements for the past 9 months and is very healthy.

+++Hi Amy,

I'm so sorry your toddler hurt himself.

No, do not try to remove the dermabond, since it won't be easy and could cause

further damage.

Vaccines are dangerous, so I'm very sorry you went ahead with the shot. To

counter the effects of it, give your son lots of vitamin C.

Get 2,000 mg into him as quick as you can, and then give him 500 mg every hour

or two while he is awake for 7 days. If it upsets his stomach give him about

1/8th of a teaspoon of baking soda mixed into 4 ounces of non-chlorinated water.

If he gets loose stools, just give him a little less per hour.

Also give him 2 Epsom salt baths per day.

I hope that helps.

+++Hi Amy,

It may help to apply cod liver oil to the scar after the cut has healed over.
