Guest guest
, you should just run over to Lousiana or Florida for your chickens. That's close to Atlanta right, all in the South...? Ha ha. Just kidding. Iowa is several hundred miles away too far from us for shopping and Nebraska is over 500 miles away but I appreciate your point. I haven't heard anything about the farmer you mention good or bad. We don't need to go far for CHICKENS and EGGS that are state-of-the-art for grass-fed, free-range, organic happy birds. We distribute for Pops Poultry (Gibbon, MN) right out of our house and we get a new batch of good stuff every week. Anyone in the Twin Cities area is welcome to share the bounty, e-mail me. I try to eat fresh eggs in my smoothie every morning. Wow! The chicken meat doesn't stick to the pan and they have real flavor without adding anything. Even the fat is good for you. This has been a big part of my recovery. I'm 100% sure there are direct-marketed free-range organic chickens available in Atlanta. City slickers often eat far better than the average small towner or farmer. Ironic, huh? Where is your FARMER'S MARKET? Have you checked there? It would be good to get local ones. There are a tremendous number of organic, sustainable ag, biodynamic farmers all over Georgia, we see many of them at our ACRES, USA meetings. Acres (www.acresusa.com) keeps a list of good farmers all over the country as does the Weston A Price Foundation that I mentioned earlier. Even though you are plagued with the factory farms there is plenty of good stuff available.
