Guest guest
Hi, My 19 month old toddler tripped and fell on the sharp side of sister's scooter that was laying on the driveway and split his forehead open yesterday. I took him to the ER last night and, contrary to my desires, they persuaded me to let them put dermabond (liquid stitches) on the cut, which did not make the opening any smaller. Should I try to get the dermabond off with hydrogen peroxide? Are there any topical treatments that will minimize the scar, since it's right in the middle of his forehead? Also, I okayed a tetanus vaccine (he's never been vaccinated for anything) and instead they gave him the full Diptheria, Pertusis, Tetanus combo, against my clear instructions. Is there anything I can give him to strengthen his body's response to the poison they injected him with? He's fully on the program - diet and supplements for the past 9 months and is very healthy. Thanks, Amy
