Guest guest
Hi Josh I am interested in your comment about heavy detox. Can I ask how long you find these periods last? I know that it is different in each case and in each person, but it is interesting to know. I seem to have been going through one since the New Year! Do you find they last hours, days or weeks? Regards, Ali. > > Hi , > > I definitely feel for you and I hope your dad can heal from the stroke. I know everyone is different, but for me it is anger that drives me to be committed to this way of eating. I am angry at the world we live in that poisons us in so many ways. I decided that I didn't want to be a part of it anymore, figuratively speaking. > > For 37 years I poisoned my body and I hit a point of desperation. Absolutely NOTHING is more important than getting healthy now. I started Bee's program over a year ago and have NEVER cheated, not even for a second. Not because I have great willpower or discipline, but because I'm angry! > > You will get your will to live back on this program. You will respect your body when you treat it right. There is no reason to wait years to do it. Do it now. > > Also, there are a lot of things you can do to get you through the rough times. Just search the forum for epsom salt baths, dry brushing, coffee enemas, deep breathing. Therapy, meditation, and light yoga could help as well. > > I hope that helps in some way. > > Josh
Guest guest
Hi Ali, During the first 8 months of the program it was like one month detox and then one month of feeling great. For the last 4 months it has been almost everyday that I feel some symptoms. I think I'm just detoxing more, now that I've been on the program for a year. I feel extremely nauseous once every couple days, and I feel really fatigued every couple weeks for about 3 days. During those 3 days I can barely move off the couch to go to work. It feels like a ton of bricks is holding me down. When I feel the nausea, it usually lasts 1-2 hours. Josh > > Hi Josh > > I am interested in your comment about heavy detox.
