Ann,

When you do oil pulling you don't actually ingest any of the oil because

you spit it out. So to get the benefits of the oil internally, you will

still need to eat some.

Re: Oil Pulling

Hi Bruce,

I do have a question about oil pulling with coconut oil . . . . I am

currently using 1Tbl. of coconut oil and am pulling for 15-20 minutes

each morning. I attempt to take 3 to 4 Tbl. of coconut oil each day.

Can I deduct the 1 Tbl. that I'm pulling from the total I attempt to

consume/ingest on a daily basis. I shall await your reply.

Thank you for all you do for all of us.

Oil pulling can help your health in general. With caps, root canals,

bonding, and gum disease, we are constantly swallowing bacteria (up to 600

kinds live in the mouth) and people have reported their teeth tightening up

after oil pulling. You need to read the book which is available at

www.coconutresearchcenter.com <http://www.coconutresearchcenter.com/> and

you'd be amazed at what health benefits you would get from dialing pulling.

This book is a first.

coconut oil open forumDoes anyone know what " oil pulling " for the mouth,

teeth, gums is all about? I have a problematic root canal that may cause me

to lose that tooth and I was wondering if it could help me.

Hi there, I just started Oil Pulling with VCO. I got a lot of

information from EarthClinic.com. They have lots of unbiased

testimonies and it's a great site for other natural remedies too. So

far I've noticed an improvement in my skin when I apply it topically.

I am able to " Pull " with VCO better and longer than when I used Rice

Bran Oil, probably because of the taste & texture. I'll continue to

monitor and will share with everyone. I just found this site and am

thankful of all the information.

Can anyone give me a link to a good article on how to oil pull? I know I saw one

on here or on Bee's website but I can't find it now, even when I do a search on

it. Thank you!

Lyn,

Thanks for posting that. Dr. is always a great resource. As far as

using Castor Oil for oil pulling I found a few who have tried it here:

http://www.earthclinic.com/Remedies/oil_pulling.html#CASTOR

Personally, I would save it for perhaps a sudden, severe dental problem only as

the taste is pretty awful :-). It's very nice on the skin though.

Best,

Dee
