Guest guest
I was using the coconut oil soap bar from Tropical Traditions, but my hair was just awful-- don't know if it smelled, but it seemed greasy. Now I'm using a shampoo bar from henna sooq and an ACV rinse - my hair is so much better. http://www.hennasooq.com/ in VA ________________________________ From: kareneats2live <laurvick@...> Sent: Mon, April 4, 2011 5:27:22 PM Subject: [ ] Looking for Shampoo suggestion I have been using baking soda for months and months now and in february, started using water-only washing. Then, just wanting the 'clean' feeling, i went back to using baking soda a couple of weeks ago. Since a couple of my kids are using the water-only method, we smell each other's hair frequently and mine, even using baking soda, got a 'dirty smell' rating. It feels clean but my kids tell me it smells dirty, even the same day i washed it (i wash my hair 3 times/wk). What do you use that meet Bee's requirements? Links would be helpful. Guest guest
Hi, I bathe and wash my hair with this Dr. Woods product from iherb. After shampooing, I put just a very small amount of coconut oil over my hair, instead of a cream rinse. I have short hair. As you bathe, it adds a nice scent to the bathwater. The glycerin in it is natural, not synthetic. You can wash clothing, and clean with it. http://www.iherb.com/Dr-Woods-Soothing-Lavender-Castile-Soap-With-Organic-Shea-B\ utter-32-fl-oz-946-ml/9071?at=0 C. > > I have been using baking soda for months and months now and in february, started using water-only washing. I'll have to compare that to Dr Bronner's soap, which is what i have, as well. After attending a WAPF meeting and learning that lavender was estrogenic, i'd like to stay away from obvious lavender... Guest guest
Hi, Dr woods has other scents, and is cheaper than Bronners. It also has shea butter.
