Guest guest
Bee and group, It has been a couple weeks since I added the eggs in my diet. I ate 4 whole eggs yesterday without breaking out! I am still getting an upset stomach but I can tell I am getting use to them. This morning I woke up and I felt a pain on the top of my scalp. Not a headache but more like I hit my head real hard and have a bruise (but I didn't hit my head.) Could this reaction be from past hair dye? Has anyone else experienced this? It's very odd because if I press down on the top of my head in about a 4 inch area it is in a lot of pain. Also does anyone know of any other moisturizer besides coconut oil? Coconut oil seems to break me out. I tried Aloe vera plant but it was to rough for my sensitive skin. I was googling and I found olive oil but I think that will make me break out also. Has anyone tried argon oil or jojoba oil? I own some argon oil. I want to stray away from my chemical moisturizer but it is very hard to find a natural pure oil I can use that wont make consistently breakout. Is there any of I-herb that are okay? I have searched through the message boards and it seems everyone uses coconut oil. :/
Guest guest
Hi Celeste, That's great that you are tolerating eggs better! Isn't it amazing the things we think we are allergic to are actually helping us to heal and we overcome these 'allergies' so quickly? I think I've had that pain that you are describing. Have you've ever had long hair that you put in a tight ponytail for too long? Does it feel like the spot that was left when you took it out? That was the pain I had a while back. Just a really sensitive spot on the scalp is what I felt. I do believe it is toxins coming out through the scalp. Likely, it's from all the chemicals and junk (including hair dye) we have used on our hair in the past. It will come and go and eventually go away altogether. Don't worry about it. It could be that any type of 'good' moisturizer you use on your face will cause breakouts. That is because they are working to help heal your skin and causing your skin to detoxify. I sometimes use unsalted butter on my face. It has a different texture than coconut oil. You could try putting cod liver oil on your breakouts. Guest guest
Yes I am so happy that I am tolerating eggs better. My allergie test said I was allergic to everything. Yes the pain I feel is in that exact spot. I couldn't pin point it till you said that so thanks! Last week I had sensitive spot on my temples and this week it is VERY sensitive on the back upper part of my head. I need to moisturize soon but I would rather detox slowly from the inside and not show it on my face 24/7 (which coconut oil makes me do.) If anyone can recommend any kind of natural moisturizer that they love and doesn't pull to many toxins out that would be great. I will try the cod liver oil and unsalted butter soon.
