Guest guest
Hi Bee, If you could give a little advice to me: This morning I awoke to blood in my stool---enough to alarm me. I had a friend who died of colon cancer & that was his first sign. Blood on the toilet tissue, too. Blood in my second morning bowel movement, too. I am quite alarmed. I did a little reading on your website & am aware it could be colitis. I have been a very, very stupid woman lately. We've been going through the most stressful time in our lives for the last 4 months--no job, moving from our home, and living in our motorhome for the last 2 months. As you can imagine, this has limited my ability to cook as well as I usually do, plus I've made the completely insane choice of choosing to drink beer---a LOT of it, and just about every night to drown my problems--which of course has just created new problems. I can tell you, I am now scared straight---don't want to leave my family. Please advise. P.S. I hate doctors, and won't go to one---especially since we have no insurance. I choose to self-diagnose & self-treat. Thanks, Donna

If it is red it is caused by damage to your anus or possible your rectum, which can be caused by many things. If your stools were black or deep red-black then you should become alarmed since that is dried blood from higher up in the colon. My Aunt is 86 and one night she had 5 bowel movements that were totally black. Tests revealed she had 2 polyps which were removed and she had other digestive and bowel problems, but she didn't have cancer. Of course she loads up on breads, pasta, etc. and is very overweight. Stop having beer and get back on track by following this program. I went through a very stressful period in 2004 and got through it by having my Egg Drink for 3 meals per day for a couple of weeks. It's so easy to make, so start with that and get back on the other foods within 2 weeks, and also take all of the supplements. Guest guest
Dear Bee: A collective sigh of relief over here after reading your comments. (thank You Jesus!) Before living in the motorhome, I used to make 14 jars of chicken broth every 1 1/2 weeks (cooked according to Nourishing Traditions recipe) and stored it in glass jars in my extra freezer, but am now reduced to making very small batches since our space is so limited---RV fridge & freezers are tiny! I used to make my egg drinks with the broth---wow is that good! The good news is my husband is making money now, business has picked up, and we bought a house---it'll be about 2 weeks until we can move in. I will definitely be taking better care of myself and consider this a " warning from God. " Thank you sooo much for replying so quickly. Since things are improving a lot for you in the near future, you'll do so much better. Hooray! Onward & Upward, Bee
