Hello,

I've been reading over the diet, but have some questions.

Are absolutely all grains and starches to be avoided from the beginning of

this diet, including the gluten-free ones like quinoa and millet? When can

you start having grains like brown rice again?

The article on diet also said not to have plants from seed pods. Like what

exactly? Does that mean green beans and yellow beans?

Hi April,

No grains are allowed on this diet. It's completely free of *all* grains, even

quinoa and millet. You could occasionally have brown rice again once you've

completely healed your body, but I imagine by then you won't be very interested

in it. You see, as you progress on this diet, your taste buds will change and

starchy grains won't be very appealing to you. Even if you do eat them, you

must make sure they are properly prepared. See this article:

Plants from seed pods would include peas and broad beans.

This is from one of Bee's articles:

Eliminate all grains, nuts, seeds, and legumes*

*Note: Legumes (a French word), are plants with seed pods, i.e. beans and peas,

but they do not include green, yellow, wax or string beans.

So, as you can see, green and yellow beans are okay to eat.
