Guest guest
Hello group, I am thinking about doing only two meals/day. I would like to ask someone doing two meals some guidance about lunch/dinner times, drinks between meals and another personal tricks which can help me to stave off hunger between meals. Thank you very much Raquel
Guest guest
Hi Raquel, I've been on Bee's program for over a year and I've done 2 meals the entire time. I eat a meal at about 8am and then another at 7pm. The morning meal is larger than dinner. I've never felt hungry and I never snack. I just drink water during the day. It will take some experimenting for you to get into a routine. At first, I was eating about 1.5 pounds of meat and 10 eggs a day plus all of my coconut oil, butter and supplements. Now I can eat no more than 1 pound of meat and 4 eggs a day plus everything else. Start by dividing your food into 2 meals and then you can tweak it if you get hungry during the day. Maybe eat more for breakfast if you need to. I don't have any tricks to make it easier. It's as easy as it could possibly be. I've never felt hungry, but I'm not sure if that would be the case for you. I used to be an insane carb addict. I would eat every two hours all day long and into the late evening, never feeling satiated. So for me to be able to go 12 hours without food and have absolutely no hunger is amazing. Guest guest
Hello Josh, thank you very much for your answer. I have been on the program for 2 months. I was a carb addict too ( never feeling satiated). You encourage me about this program. I am going to try to do 2 meals.Thank you again. Welcome, Raquel! You're going to be so glad you've taken this very important step: following Bee's program! As a confessed carb-addict (you and me, both!), it will take some adjusting time. I wish I could say what Josh has said, that i never cheated or needed snacks or was never hungry. The carb cravings have driven me nuts. But I am eating two times/day. Currently, I'm eating my first meal at noon (which, as Josh said, is larger than the 2nd meal) and then the second meal in the evening. I really love eating this way and, like Josh, I no longer suffer from hunger during the not-eating times. As a newcomer to this way of eating, you might need to grab a tsp of coconut oil or butter between meals (or use Bee's " trick " with Vit C to stave off the cravings) while you adapt. Eventually, as your body changes from burning sugar to burning fat for fuel, you won't get those cravings and you won't be hungry. Guest guest
Hello Josh, I am worried because I am eating more food (fats and proteins) than my ratios. How many time did you need to decrease the amount of food? Thank you Raquel  ________________________________ De: natureguy626 <steakneggs1973@...> Para: Enviado: mié,6 abril, 2011 05:22 Asunto: [ ] Re: Doing 2 meals  Hi Raquel, I've been on Bee's program for over a year and I've done 2 meals the entire time. Guest guest
Hi Raquel, It's ok to go higher than your calculated ratios of fat and protein. I asked Bee about that months ago because my protein is always about double what it should be. She said it doesn't matter. Eating more fat and protein is not a problem at all. The reason I've been decreasing my food over the last year is because I just don't need as much food to feel satisfied. Just make sure you're getting at least the minimum ratios of fat and protein and you'll be good. Just don't go over on the carbs.
