Guest guest
I counted up 74 vitamins a day. Do you eat anything? Or do you just take the pills? I wonder if it is to much

Guest guest
Has anyone has trouble taking Milk Thistle? I seem to get sick on it. I tried it for 2 weeks and felt so bad I had to stop. I have tried to get going on it again, but as soon as I start taking it (about 2 days), I start to loose energy and get the " blahs " . As soon as I stop taking it, I feel fine again. I was taking 225 mg, twice daily with meals. Should I continue to take it? Is there something going on inside that is either good or bad with this kind of reaction? My pretreatment viral load was 110,000, then viral load dropped to 35,000 at week four, then slowly began climbing right back up! Went on high dose, dropped a little, then right back up again. Guest guest
Claudine, Did your Liver enzymes drop during treatment, and if so did they normalize and remain there during the balance of your treatment? (Not real low, but about half or less of what they were prior to treatment.) That was the one good thing about that year (53 weeks), I feel like my liver got a break! However, by about 2 or 3 months after I stopped they were back up again, with my ALT in the 80's. I did not have another PCR done for 10 months, and I realize now it must have been very high (for me) probably within a few weeks of quitting the treatment. My PCR was 50,000 when I quit, and at ten months it was 806,000. At 11 months it was 440,000. In June it was down to 190,000, so it is finally back down to about my pre-treatment levels. My ALT was 80. I think everything is stable for now. Guest guest
You may do well to cut out high doses of Vit C and E and be careful not to use aspirin along with ginseng/gingko biloba. Here are some other examples of herbs and medicines that shouldn't go together: --Ginseng: Don't mix with coumadin (warfarin) because the herb can reverse the drug's effects. --Kava: Don't mix with alcohol, anti-Parkinson's medications, antipsychotics, sedatives, sleeping pills. The reason is kava can add to the effects of drugs that depress the central nervous system, causing oversedation as well as tremors, muscle spasms or abnormal movements. --Natural licorice: Don't mix with blood pressure medication because of the risk of counteracting the effects of the drugs treating hypertension. --St. 's Wort: Don't mix with antidepressants. Studies raise concerns of adverse side effects from the interaction. --Valerian: Don't use with alcohol, sedatives or sleeping pills because it may result in extreme drowsiness. There was one case where a 70-year-old man taking aspirin regularly after heart surgery began using ginkgo biloba twice a day and started bleeding in his eye. After quitting the herb, the bleeding stopped.

Guest guest
HI.This morning I woke up early and whem I went to the kitchen to make coffee lots of birds where waiting outside to be fed.I made the coffee went outside to my feather friends and had a harty talk with them.I told them in birdlanguage, which I speak, that the party is over and for there own good they have to go out looking food for themselves. After I finished my speech there was a lot of noise, most of them where upset but some agreed, the crows. Some of them started to beg for their food but I persisted. After a while they flew away to one of my neighbours who.is also a birdfeeder.Hve to talk to him. After the coffee I threw all the supplements in the toilet, including cigarettes, coffee, thea etc.Must give a good example.I.ll will be of list for a while going to the nile and tell the mosquito.s there not to hitchhike to the US to sting my beloved friends.Lol.. Guest guest
For the first time in 19 months, since I have been taking dilantin, I dont have that buzzed feeeling anymore. My thinking is much clearer. The only change I have made is a daily dose of Oscal, B- Complex (at my doctors advice) and Omega 3. I have to think these have something to do with how good I am feeling, plus I havent had a seizure approaching 2 months. I was having them on the average of every 6 weeks. Magnesium was one of the primary keys in reducing my late son's gran mal seizures and is a critically important nutrient, deficient in most people's diets.
