Hi,

I have written before and although I really want to believe in this diet, I have

some concerns.

I've been on the diet for some months now. I stick to it as best as I can. I'm

not having a problem with the eating diet in itself. I have fibromylgia, and

disc problem. As soon as I move my body it is painful. I have pains in my

finger joints, knee joints and feet, and most muscles in my body. I'm not very

active and the pain really gets me down. Even my gentle yoga is causing me

pain. I am still having hot flashes at night, and cannot sleep with the pain. I

am seriously considering taking the natural progesterone, but I believe that's

made from soya, not recommended by you. (I had the flashes before I began this

diet). I try not to take painkillers and only take paracetamol, as if I take

anything stronger, codeine etc., I cannot function the next day. I have

tried turmeric powder but not sure if I should take it for pain.

The pain is still with me, and it seems worse in some ways. I understand about

the die-off symptoms, but not sure if this is it. I have lost weight, well

actually I seem a lot thinner but have only lost a few kilos, and I know this is

because of the diet. Does increased protein intake increase muscle mass,

therefore looking thinner but in fact building mass? I hear this happens when

you increase exercise. May be a silly question.

I have also been slow to start my vitamins as they are too expensive here in

France and, believe me, I am ready to give up any other spending to finance this

diet, but am in a bad situation financially. Finally, I received my first

shipment from Iherb (had to pay extra French duty that I didn't know about). As

I couldn't afford the A.B. Omega vitamins you recommend Bee, I ordered the

following, after checking your vitamin requirements.

Now Vitamin A, which is 25, 000 in each capsule (recommended daily of 1 capsule)

Now Cod liver oil which has 2500 A and 270 A, it has EPA/DHA but doesn't

specify. (recommended daily of 1 capsule).

(I have the correct strength Vit E, Nutritional yeast, Calcium and Mag

Citrate).

By my reckoning, and your specified doses, I should take 3/4 of Cod live oil and

one of Vit A. This puts my Vit A dose slightly over 30,000. I'm reading

everywhere that this is a considerable higher dose that recommended, ie your

recommended dose can cause toxicity and I'm really worried. I have been taken

this for three days now and have bad headaches, but can't believe I can react so

quickly. In fact, the doses you recommend ae classified as overdosing on any

health site I check. Need to feel good about this!

Thanks in advance

Best regards

Nuala
